My payment for the parts didn't go through. I'm glad most of it hasn't shipped yet. What has been shipped, can be sent back, luckily. It's going to be a major pain in the ass to sort this out, but, atleast I purchased all of my stuff from the same tuning site, which makes it a tad easier to send stuff back & cancel orders. I will be meeting with the bank later today to discuss how much V$ be getting back and what fees will arise. This is a blessing in disguise, in a way. I was starting to get cold feet about "wasting" my money. What am I going to do with the Evo? Keep it, obviously. But, I think I'm going to put it aside for now. The Lexus needs some work and I think I want to get into drifting. Which calls for modifying the Lexus, which I don't think I can bring myself to do considering how nice this chassis is, or, purchasing another FR.
Speaking of the GS,I tried to open my hood, but it was stuck shut... So I ended up jamming a crowbar in there and breaking the latch. I then removed it. I'm either going to attempt a repair or have it replaced. When I "opened" the hood, i was pleasantly shocked. Considering the price, the engines aesthetics are very nice. It doesn't run perfect, but, it works. Which is all I need it to do. |
