The Omega came back from the paintshop yesterday. It looks really nice in white.

Today we started to apply the decor, but we have to stop it, because the engine is arrived too.

It is like the original lotus carlton engine, but with some modifications. The base was the 3 liter 24v dohc engine in our case too. The modifications are: The cubic capacity is enlarged to 3615 cc. The combustion chambers in cylinder head are milled to achieve 8.2:1 compression(the factory is 10:1). Forged Mahle pistons. Kessler forged crankshaft. 2 remanifactured Garrett T25 turbos. they replaced the original ignition system to a coil on plug one. The fuel injectors are new, and the fuel rail is made for the car. An adjustable fuel pressure regulator is applied. The original motronic is replaced to whistler racing engine management with ALS and launch control. they did not recreated the original water cooled intercooler, they used a HKS unit. Racing sinter clutch with lightened flywheel. 6 speed ZF gearbox from a C4 corvette. They say it is good up to 650whp. When it'll be reinstalled to the car, they'll fine tune it on a dyno.
