Sorry for being lost, we were really in the making of the omega :D

So, where did i stop? Oh yeah, we removed the original engine. Since we had an m60 for measuring before the new engine arrived, we could easily create motor mounts, and when we got the motor, we could drop in instantly(sorry, no pics, we were in a hurry). The body parts arrived too, and the first thing we mounted was the rear arch, because the original fender did not cleared the 17 inch rims.

I almost forgot to mention that i bought some cheap used coilovers i found to be close enough for me. It is from a Benz, cost me V$280. It is good enough for now. It came with adjustable camber plates too. We made some tweaks on the steering rack too, and gained some steering angle. We welded the diff for now, i am collecting money for a good LSD.
With that progress, we wanted to test our work, so we took out the car to the parking lot next to the garage, and burned some rubber. The engine felt nice, but the handling were crap. It understeered a lot.

One of my colleague told me there will be an amateur drift/slalom race in the neighbourhood, so we put the car in such a hurry, that i did not sleep for 3 days. But it came together, sounded and felt really nice, and when we loaded it down from the trailer, the engine stalled, and we could not restart it. We checked everything on the engine, without any progress. And as the day went by, i realized what could be the problem: we left the factory fuel tank, and with that sliding the day before, we shaked up all of the dirt is in the tank. We replaced the fuel filter, and the engine started for the first try. But the race is ended. We could run one lap, but thats it. But it worth it, i managed to trade the 16 inch BBS set to a 17 inch panasport replica set and some cash.

Today we started to rattle can the car to a battleship gray color. Please nevermind the stickers. We also did some adjustments on the suspension too, now it handles much more better. We went out to the car park again, and i start to like it very much. What is sure, i need to upgrade the brakes, i burned the stock brake in a parking lot, what would it do on a track? I also need a proper seat, the original chevrolet seat is trash, i wanted to put in the vaders from the 36, but we did not have time for that. I need a rollbar and a racing fuel tank too.
