This has been mine for few days now as a daily beater. A lot things has to be fixed & worked on. But these aren't big problems, I hope. In few months time when I'm probably back in Japan, it'll be there with me too. Only if I success to restore it.
As far as I've owned it, I washed it, changed wheels & changed license plate to US size. Here's a brief list about the new car. About the car: - 1990 Volkswagen Golf MK2 - 3 door - 1.8l EA827 (89 hp, 66 kW) - 5 speed transmission Modifications: - Cut springs - Some lip cable-tied to the bumper - Changed rims - US size license plate (legal) Problems: - Rust & paint - Weak engine - Cracked bumpers - Missing details - Lights not working properly - Few interior misfits & broken details Plans: - Clean exterior & interior properly - Strip the interior & some exterior parts - Fix all the rust - New paintjob - Get a proper suspension system - Change brakes - Work on the engine bay - Clean it - Shave it - Paint it - Swap a Honda engine into it - Swap & rebuild the interior - Additional tuning parts - Spoiler - Lips - Rims - Lights |
