if my opinion counts, i vote to the black lip too! :)

I really like your Mazda, that V6 in that body is a really nice combination! But one tip: after you changed the alternator and the belt, check the voltage at idle, it could be that you have ground problems, or a bad fuse, or bad wires too. I suffered from these problems with my cars before. ;)
