Hy! My name is Gabe, and i came from Europe to the sunny California state, to start all over again. I am a car guy, that it was a luck to find job in a garage.

So one day my boss told me one day that an e36 will be towed to the garage, and we will part it out. The day arrived, and when i first saw the car i knew that it will be mine. It is a full m-packet 320i manual, and the garage bought it for the m bumpers and skirts. it was V$550, the boss said, that i can buy it for that price, without the m stuff. I can't miss this oppurtunity. The car is in mint condition, original polaris silber, no rust, only one little dent at the rear left corner, and a little rust with it. And original black m-tech interior, with wader seats, and black headliner. It came with factory 16" styling 15 rims, one of my favourite, but with crappy tires. oh, i forgot to mention, the car sat in a barn for 5 years.

The seller found a stock e36 front bumper in the garage, paid V$50 for it. Ordered brand new bf goodrich tires, cost me V$300 for the set. I mounted them for myself. I also bought used m3 sideskirts for V$80, and a fiberglass rear m3 replica bumper for V$25. Looking for a front m-tech bumper too.

Of course when i had some freetime, i worked on the car. I mounted every single part by the end of the day. Oh yeah, and i don't think it is a good idea to cut the springs literally by half, but fuck it, i would do it again. The car is scraping on everything, but form over function is the motto.

Later i found an original alpina front spoiler. The seller did not know what he was selling, i got it for VS50.

And as the days goes by,i every day fixed some minor problem on the car, and went for little rides around the block. I did not registered the car yet, so without the plates, this is the max. One day i noticed that the temperature needle went up to the red mark. I stopped the engine, waited to cool down, popped the hood, removed the oil filler cap, and fuck, that old white creamy friend. Blown headgasket, hello again. That 5 year parking made some problem for me.

No problem, what would everybody do in my place? fix the gasket, and drive again. But not me, i did not have bigger plans for the 3'er, i wanted to keep it a daily beater, but this could be an opportunity to create something different. Maybe a drift missle, or something. So do the worst thing i could do, buy another shitbox for daily.
