JC said in the post that all data like articles, downloads, etc. will be transferred to the site. He is not sure whether it will be forum only or not to my knowledge, I could be wrong tho. He wants to upgrade the site, because the current CMS (Content Management System) is REALLY outdated and getting support/plugins is really hard as most of them are really outdated. Moving to the new site shouldn't affect most people. The only thing it would affect is maybe the threads that currently exist from what I've gathered.
