Stripping and Priming Parts for Paint
I started to break down the 240 today so I can start to prime the parts for paint.  First the fenders, front bumper, hood, and headlights had to come off. Ran into some trouble with the fenders, they didn't want to come off as easily as I'm used but other than that, everything went smooth   I then pulled the motor out with the help of some buddies that were around. After the motor was out we then removed the doors and took both seats out.  I didn't catch any other pictures of the strip, but shortly after that we took out the rear seats. and pulled out all the carpeting and stripped the door panels. She now sits bare chasis and on a set of stock steelies waiting to be painted. |
