CRINGEWORTHY FANFICTION SKILLS IN 3...2...1...

What's up, people? You may have seen my first post here, well, I have good news and bad news. Let's get on to the need-to-know basis. I was just cruising around the city in my daily driver, a Honda CRX. It was my 18th birthday, so my parents gave me 16,000 quid and told me to go look for a car. Anyway, I was cruising around when I found a very pleasing sight - a Nissan Skyline R32.

It was sitting inside a sort of an open workshop, lots of cars and people working on said cars. I've talked to the guy who owned the shop and asked about the 32, and apparently it used to belong to a locally famous drifter, nicknamed Big Boss, who crashed it. Since it used to be ex drift-spec, it has all the things you'd want. Widebody, a bit... down to earth, if you know what I mean, racing rollcage, among other things.

Good news first. The car's chassis is mostly intact. The team the famous drifter belonged to, whose name was Singh, bought the wrecked car in and straightened out all the dented bits and removed the panels that were too badly damaged to be of any use.

Bad news is, the RB26 that's in the car blew up, [Which was apparently what caused the crash in the first place. Locked the rear wheels up, I assume. Owner didn't say much.] and that the team didn't want to bother trying to fix a motor that might be irreparable. The only thing that was in pristine condition were, for some reason, the turbocharger inside, plus the racing intercooler and piping.

Anyway, the owner agreed to sell me the car for 15,000 quid. The reason why it's so cheap is because it's been sitting there for 4 years and the owner wanted to get rid of it. So I bought it, and had it towed to my friend's garage.

Whipped my phone out and snagged a picture.

(Yes, yes, crappy screen resolution and unrealistic damage. 1: I was in windowed mode. 2: I can't be bothered to run into walls and trees for 30 minutes just to make my car "look like it's been involved in a car accident." Ignore the epic multi-trillion dollar equipment behind, I didn't have much choice in garage mods.)
