About to show a project I've been working on over the last month or so, not so much of a build a it is an unveil, I don't have many before pictures so I'm just not going to show any as of right now.

This is my 1971 Camaro Z28

Now the first thing you'll probably think is Mad Max. You'd be right about that.

This car has been inspired by Mad Max 2's V8 Interceptor & Mighty Car Mods' Mod Max build. I happened to come along a rolling chassis of this Z28 and I knew right away what needed to be done. I bought it and immediately started getting all the parts I could for it.

After sourcing all the body parts I could for the car from about 3 different cars, I painted a majority of them. I only found the wing mounts for car, and the only middle wing I found was incredibly over priced, so I decided to leave it off. Instead I've bolted and welded a roof rack cage on the trunk and roll cage of the car. This does mean the trunk doesn't open, but it's not exactly meant to be a practical car. That being said, it can go places if you need it to.

The car has an LT-1 350 V8 in it which has a supercharger kit to bring the power up to a modest 394WHP. It's also got a 4 speed manual transmission and custom side exit exhausts. The interior is gutted and only has the bare essentials, and the rusty gas tank I got with the car has been replaced with a racing fuel tank.

The car is on offroad shocks & springs originally meant for a Chevy Blazer. Two 15x9s give a great front tire width for the street, while 15x12.5 with 30 inch all terrain tires give this car capability to tear it up offroad. What do you think?

Do it for the ratchets
