so i decided I might as well park up the 34 now, and get cracking on the single turbo conversion. I have a lot of the parts that I need, a fresh HKS intercooler, the Holset HX40 twin scroll turbo that I also run on my SR20, the piping, and a new intake manifold.
I pulled the stock manifold and turbos off the RB25 and sold them for a great price. I'm waiting on a single turbo manifold to get here, and some parts for a motor refresh, and we can get this car back on the road. Wheels are bought, just waiting on delivery. I'm excited. And the RPS13 looks like this ; I bought another set of white TE37's on the cheap from a buddy who didn't want them anymore so I might as well keep these. Pretty clean and no curb rash. My full Type X aero came in, along with widened front fenders. I did the sleepy eyes (simply cut the wire under the switch), and I pulled the SR20 out. I'm selling the motor since I'm upgrading to a bigger six cylinder in this car. $3500 is going to buy you this SR20DET. 2.2L stroker crankshaft JE Forged pistons Greddy cams Holset HX40 twin scroll turbo TIAL external wastegate ISIS Performance manifold HKS intake manifold HKS 70mm throttle body Mishimoto radiator Mishimoto intercooler Deustchwerks 1000cc injectors Makes 450 horsepower on 12 psi of boost. Quite proud of my work, the first motor I've managed to dress up without it grenading itself. |
