Hahahah you would be 100% correct, my girlfriend drives a very clean stock Altezza while I drive ratchet ass drift cars.
Also, I tore out some of the stock crap in my S15, the handbrake, OEM shift knob, stock vents, and OEM steering wheel with airbags. Zexeffect let me know if you want any of these things for your S15 seeing that I won't need them anymore. I had a custom hydro e-brake setup done by the guys at VStanced Garage, they gave me my car back within two days. Very professional service and quality work.  I bought a Nardi Deep Corn steering wheel from a friend for $250; a hefty price for a wheel, but I couldn't pass up a genuine Nardi wheel, and clearcoated in that beautiful purple gradient, I had to have it. I also bought a pink bubble shift knob for $50 off eBay - these shifters just look so good.  And finally, even though the stock SR20DE was fun to just daily around or get on it once in a while, the stock 165 horsepower wasn't going to cut it for long. I parked it in the shop and decided to go turbo. I decided to go with a proven setup, so I decided to go with a Holset HX40 twin scroll, the same one as in my RPS13.  It sits on a custom top mount manifold fabbed up by the guys at VStanced Garage.  As it sits right now - I have the turbo mounted onto the manifold, to check for hood clearance. Next step is to get an intercooler and make up the piping. I'm also starting to look for some wheels to run on this car in the future - feel free to throw me some suggestions. |
