@pinter03

Nice Sierra, can't wait to see that as a drift car. Nice and different.

@Everyone who complimented the Miata

Thank you, it'll only get better (in my opinion)

@DriftPhantom

We'll have to do an MX5 drift sesh up there some night once I've got mine out and running, the thing is turning out savage.

@Coprone

your S14 gives me heart eyes everytime, the colour on that car is excellent. Also isn't owning a sticker printer one of the greatest things? You can make whatever stupid shit you want.

Anyway, here is a small update on MX5 Progress.

First thing's first, I got the old engine out in no time, but putting the RB in is a bit of a struggle.

I took off the exhaust manifold to get some more room, then dropped this thing in. It's not secure but here's the first test fit.

We pulled it out and got some engine mounts made that are based off the MX5's mixed with the R32's.

We got the engine back in and transmission aligned to where it needed to be, then put the manifold back on.

The turbo was installed and then we started to fabricate piping for the new engine bay.

I can't run a left headlight or a hood, the engine and piping are in the way too much, and if I drop the engine any lower then the intercooler will scrape and the sump will be way too close to the ground. I knew this wasn't gonna be easy, just was hoping it would be. Next up is wiring and possible dump valve since I'm running hoodless anyway. I've also got a couple aero parts on order as well as a 2way LSD, can't be spinning one wheel.

Wheel set up will be last but I'll need some fresh wheels and an alignment.

Do it for the ratchets
