Call me stupid but I had a lead on a rolling chassis that I wanted to check out.
Old Toyota KE70 Corolla that has been under a cover for over a year in an underground parking lot. The owner wanted to sell it because he didn't have the time.    For $500 how do you say no to this 2 door Corolla? Okay well it has no engine. It has cut fenders that were never finished. There are no seats. Where are the exterior panels and trim you ask? Okay well it has a dashboard, a gear knob, and a steering wheel. That I don't want. It has an exhaust with holes in it. But it also has character. And original trunk badges, which would be a pain in the ass to find. Stay tuned as I attempt to build this car. At least it has no rust. |
