this is very ambitious as I'm sure you understand.. modelling a car from scratch takes months/years of work so well done for attempting it, I would get the 3d model perfect before rushing to slr :) and when you get to SLR start with my rim tutorial.

reason for that is simple.. it covers the basics, gives you basic understanding of how mods are made and it will be a nice kick start to car modding.
