In my experience its better than .dds or .ptx
You can change it in the .rpk without doing anything else

Dont forget to use this line : osd.createBG( new ResourceRef(frontend:typeID for each Background goes here) );

On all sections of OptionsDialog.java

Yh I'm converting all textures to .png

Yes I know, And that is already done.
