Ok just to make sure I have to change all those 12 files to .jpg then open the "TEST" in gimp not TEST.1 or any of the others. Then I have to change the size to 1024x1024 or higher, paint it with the color I want then save it as JPG and replace the original TEST and then delete the .jpg and load it in game?
This whole thing got so much harder and confusing only because when I save the paintjob, I get 12 files instead of 1 or 2 and that I can't delete the .jpg after I'm done messing with it in gimp Added 1 hour 13 minutes later: I finally got how to make it work. Thank you guys for your help! Only problem is you can't put decales on fenders or roof.
