Thanks for the nice feedback everyone! Yeah, BMWs of this era can be really beautiful. Well, ours is not quite but we're already bringing it back to its former glory!

This week we got not one, but two new cars! I've been looking for something that i could drive right away and also a bit more powerful because it turned out that the E34 needs more work than we expected. Eventually i ended up with this TT which is a 3.2 quattro, i'd say it packs a punch! Originally there were very little sporty or luxury cars in this country so the wealthier people imported them from Germany or Switzerland, just like this one. Many of them can be found for sale now, some of them for ridiculously cheap prices! This TT seemed like a good deal too as i got it for 15000 marks which is around V$8750. It also has a few mods such as coilovers and a sports exhaust system, something i would probably do so this car was a very good choice for me!

Overall i'm very happy with its performance, the V6 feels like it has tons of torque! One thing that i don't know whether i like it or not is the DSG transmission, i'm more used to manuals but this one can be either automatic or controlled with paddle shifters, which gives it kind of a supercar feeling. Still, i can say this is a great car for daily driving and occasional racing. :P

The next morning Phonexius and i went to Banja Luka to pick up the second car which will be our project. It's a Mk2 Golf, by far the most common and sought after car in Bosnia but despite that there are many ways to make it stand out! It was quite early and cold when we got there and the windows were still a bit frozen, because of that it had some problems when we tried to start it but it ran eventually. For some reason it wasn't registered, well i guess the seller has a newer car and doesn't use this one anymore.

The paint on the hood is quite faded and the right fender is dented, other than that the body looks solid without any rust, strangely. Everything functions as it should though so there shouldn't be any problems with it.

When i saw the interior i was shocked that this Golf has less kilometers than the TT which is almost 20 years newer!! Looking at it from the outside i'd say it has more but looks can be deceiving, i guess. And yeah, that's a clock instead of a rev counter.

At the moment we're gathering some crazy ideas for this Golf! However there's still the E34 to work on so more on that later. :)
