Blast from the past...

-✔ Well well well ... It's time for another update , isn't it ? Well , I guess so ! So , first of all , I'd like to apologize for not posting so far this week , but a lot of things have happened and I can proudly say that everything turned out exactly like it was supposed to. Anyway , the R's meet is getting closer and closer and oh boy I'm excited ! I can't wait to see the whole crew in one place and this is definitely gonna be the coolest meet ever. I'm really glad I managed to own 2 show-worthy cars before the show , and I couldn't have been more proud of them. I'm gonna take both of my R's to the meet , so if you want to see the beasts , just visit our booth , we will have tons of cool stuff , like exclusive merch made by us and lots of other cool things , so if you want to get some cool swag , you know where to come ! ✔-

-✔ So , because the R's meet is getting closer I decided to give the GTR a small little custom touch for 2 reasons. One of them would be the overall looks and the second one would be downforce. The diffuser you're seeing in the rear is custom made by me , and yes , it's my first ever aero piece that I've made without any help. So , as you can see , I painted it black to bring the theme from the front splitter which is also black to the rear , and I'd say that it came out pretty good ! Even though the design is very simplistic , it's doing exactly what I want it to do , which is mainly to look good and to provide a tiny bit of downforce. Feel free to tell me if I should either keep it on or if I should go with a carbon fiber diffuser , after all , the custom diffuser is made out of aluminium , but I think it's good enough for now. I can't tell you guys what the next thing for the GTR is , because I don't even know , but still , the mods are gonna be as minimalistic as possible to give the car that clean and untouched look , so if you enjoy that kind of mods , stay tuned in for that ! ✔-

-✔ Ahh , the GTST. I started to feel bad that I haven't changed a thing in the last month or something like that , so I decided to change some things up. So , before we get into it , remember the ER34 I had a while ago ? Man I loved that thing ! The thing I liked the most about it was the fact that it had bucket seats in the rear , and oh man , I'm more than sure that everyone loved that , so I decided to take some inspiration from the ER and do the same thing to the GTST. As you can see , the rear seat is now gone and it has been replaced by 2 more Bride bucket seats with Takata seatbelts , and oh man , I love it ! It's just a little bit hard to squeeze between the front 2 bucket seats , but once you're in the back , it's a completely different experience. I will finally be able to pick up the whole crew and be way more safer thanks to the bucket seats in the rear ! I feel like I should've done this a long time ago , and voila , it has finally been done. The safety for the rear passengers has of course increased thanks to the Takata seatbelts and I'm really glad the passengers in the rear will now be safer ! It's gonna be so fun to cruise on the wangan with all of my friends in the GTST ! ✔-

-✔ And now it's the time to reveal the main attraction of this update ! Well , this has been a secret for around 2-3 weeks and absolutely no one knew about this , but thanks to Lagano , everything worked out perfectly. So , let me fill you guys in with what I'm talking about. Alright so , I ended up buying a car from across the ocean , to be more specific , from the US. So , I got myself a 1970 Datsun 240Z. Once again basically the same story as the Supra , it is just a rolling shell with few other bits, oh and stock L24 engine obviously completely dead as expected. The only good thing is that the car is practically rust free as it was in California it's whole life, also all windows are in one piece too haha. Here is the pictures the seller sent me. Judging the condition from the pictures, decision was made to send the money and "buy" it straight away. ✔-

-✔ So , here's some info about this car. It's a 1970 Datsun 240Z with a clean title , it's completely bone stock , the L24 engine is currently not in working condition , the tyres are popped , and the chassis is clean from rust , because as I said , this thing sat in California it's whole life. Speaking of time , this thing hasn't moved in 38 years to be exact and it only had one owner up until now. The car also came with some wheels that I don't recognize and of course , they're 4 lug wheels , which brings me to the subject of the hubs. The hubs have , of course , 4 studs because back then , that's what every car had , and man I'm so lucky to have this thing completely bone stock , so yeah , I will be able to fit some 4 lug wheels which will make the car even more JDM. So , another thing is that the car is so damn dirty , it's full of dust and sand everywhere , and that's why the paint looks so bad. Underneath the dirty layer of dust and sand is the original color which is the Kilimanjaro White. I can't wait to give this car a nice little wash and see if the paint is still recoverable , but I doubt it is. This car will have to get repainted anyway , but man , I can't wait to get to work on it. ✔-

-✔ So , the car has the black interior which is quite in good shape. The seats are thankfully in great condition without any rips or anything , but I think I will have to take the whole interior apart , because as you know , this thing was in California it's whole life , so it's bound to have at least a kilogram of sand in the interior haha ! I dunno if I'll keep this color of interior , but it sure does look good after all of those years , and as I said , it hasn't moved since the 1980s , so yeah , 38 years of standing still. A lot of stuff are gonna happen to this car , but don't worry , it's gonna be a long process so you guys can enjoy every second of it. ✔-

-✔ So , you may ask what my plans are for this thing , well , it's gonna be the exact same thing as the Supra , but 100 times better done. I want to completely restore this thing and I'm not afraid of saying this , but this project might take around half a year or so , plus , I won't work on this thing all the time , after all , I have to work for the team and manage my life too , so it's definitely going to take a long while to completely restore the Z , but heck , even if this takes years , I'll still do it because this is exactly what I wanted and I'm gonna do it 100% alone , because this is my first real project and I want to be the one who restores this thing , but still , Mackay will probably help me here and there ! Talking about Mackay , isn't a coincidence that Mackay bought his 240Z exactly a year ago ? haha , I think it is ! So yeah , I just felt like I had to finally buy my oldest dream car and here it is ! All of this wouldn't have been possible without Lagano , huge thanks to him for going out of his way to make sure everything goes according to plan and for settling everything so I can get this car ! Lagano , as a reward for helping me , I promise you that you're gonna have the time of your life in Japan , so yeah , I can't wait to see you bro ! And yeah , I'm excited to get working on this thing , but this is gonna be the biggest side-project ever. As I said , rebuilding this thing isn't my number 1 priority right now , but I'll make sure to work on it in my free time. Thinking about it , Mackay's 240Z was from 1972 , so my 240Z might be the oldest car that ever entered Mackay's workshop and I'm more than happy to say that I own it ! ✔-

-✔ So yeah , here are my reasons for not uploading for a while. I'm really happy everything turned out perfect and once again , big thanks to Lagano for going all the way in California to get this thing and shipping it over ! I can't express how hyped I was when 2 days ago he called me and told me the Z arrived at the docks ! So yeah , I will make a promise right now to you guys , this is the best , the most detailed and the coolest car I will ever build up until now. I know none of you expected this , but hey , it's something different from what I usually do so yeah , sometimes you just gotta flip the page , if you know what I mean ! It's gonna be a heck of a project , because literary everything will have to be rebuild on this car , from the interior all the way to the brakes , suspension , engine , exterior... pretty much everything and oh man , I'm ready ! I wanted to do this for so long and I finally managed to do it ! Ahh , this is gonna be great ! ✔-

-✔ Haha so yeah , that'll be all for now ! The next update should come out after I come back from the R's meet , though I really don't know how everything is gonna happen , the weather in Japan has gone to shit , and I'm more than sure that the typhoon made this happen. Bridges collapsed , wind is lifting up kei cars , it's pretty much a disaster , so stay safe out there and take care of yourselves ! But anyway , that's it for now and yeah , I hope you guys enjoyed this update , because I did and that would be pretty much it , godspeed homies ! ✔-
