Smooth Criminal...

-✔ Hey guys ! What's up ? It's finally time for another one of these updates ! So , as you know , it's finally Friday and it's 24th of August , and I really hope you know what's gonna happen tomorrow , but in case you have no idea what I'm talking about , the Ride Of The Month of August is closing for submissions and voting will take place. I have no clue when the voting will happen , but I really hope it's gonna be soon. I can't wait to see who you guys vote for , hopefully it's gonna be me who wins , but I've got some serious competition ! I'm talking about Lagano , RocketBunnyS13 and Niatross. Their cars are super good looking , but may the best looking car win ! Either way , let's just move on to the update ! ✔-

-✔ Ahh , the good ol' R32... Well , I can proudly say that it went through some massive changes in these last couple of days. The parts that I ordered finally arrived and man oh man , they're looking fresh. So , the R32 is still bone stock when it comes to the engine , suspension and brakes. Well , long story short I decided to change that and I ordered a full Endo CVT kit from AccuAir Suspension. If you have no clue what an Endo CVT is , well , it's pretty much a all-in-one Compressor , Valve and Airtank for you bags. What makes the Endo CVT is the fact that it's incredibly quiet , and that's because everything that needs to make the bags work is integrated in one single unit and thus , it's so quiet that you can't even hear the compressor working. One thing that I hate is to have loud noises besides engine sounds while I drive , and I made sure to invest and buy an Endo CVT system for the requirements that I need. The system is located in the trunk of the car , and what's really funny is that you can't even hear when it's working. This will for sure increase the comfort levels of the car. So , moving on to the suspension I bought for the car , I bought a kit of AirLift Suspension. I haven't had any issues when installing it and I really recommend them. They work really well in combination with the AccuAir system and they perform and feel just like coilovers , and I'm not kidding. They're really stiff and can absorb the bumps in the road like a champ. I really don't know why everyone says that coils perform better than bags , because they feel exactly the same , the bags absorb the bumps better , and when you air the bags out , you've pretty much got a slammed car ! It's just amazing ! Either way , I'd suggest you look at the pictures below because they show the old fitment with the stock suspension and wheels ! ✔-

-✔ I can't tell you guys how much of a difference some better suspension makes to a car ! Bags both enhance the look , make the car feel better , and they perform way better than stock suspension. I have no clue why you would go static when you can just buy and install some bags. We all know how hard it is to park your can on a steep driveway when your car is static , but with bags , you have nothing , and I mean nothing to fear of. Heck , if your suspension has a lot of travel , you can just fill your bags and turn your car into a rally car ! Well , not really , but still , if you're planning to go on a quite bumpy road , you can do that just fine with bags. Most show cars use bags and the R32 is no exception. I'm building this thing to be pretty much a daily showcar so these bags are just perfect for me. I know , an R32 GTST as a showcar ? Well , yeah ! Why not ? I've wanted to build a showcar since the very beginning and now I can finally put some work into the R32. So , anyway , the pics below will show the cars new look with the bags installed and with the brand new wheels. There's also gonna 2 pictures that show the stance of the car when it's aired out vs driving height. ✔-

-✔ Haha , well , as you can see , that's pretty much how the car's fitment looks when it's aired out. And yes , I decided to go with a really cool wheel setup for this build. The wheels are 18" HRE 301 rims shipped straight out of the US and they're brand new , of course. With some stretched tyres on the rims , I managed to acquire this amazing fitment up in the front and the rear. I must say , the rear is absolutely amazing , and I think I'm now a part of the "camber gang" or whatever the cool kids call it these days. So yeah , fitment's "on fleek" and I'm really happy with it ! The tyres don't rub anywhere and the look of the car is just killer ! Ahh , and being able to change your height in real time is absolutely amazing as well , I've never experienced something like that. I can say that when the car is aired out , you can really feel like you're almost touching the ground and I love it. Right now , I'm trying to get the car ready for the R's meet , which is coming up really fast now and man , I really hope all my cars will turn the heads of car fanatics over there. ✔-

-✔ To enhance the look of the R32 , I decided to look for an R32 GTR wing , and I found one ! Luckily , it came off of an white R32 GTR , so the paint matches really well , but I'm not gonna keep the car white for any longer , and in fact , tomorrow , the R32 is leaving for paint , so you can expect a reveal on Monday next week. The wing looks really really good and finally the rear end of the R32 doesn't look so "bald and empty". I really felt like the rear of this thing looked kinda bad without a wing , but now , I've successfully solved that issue. Anyway , there's many other plans that I have for this car , but I won't tell you guys everything , because I would ruin the surprise , right ? Well yeah ! So , after installing the wing and making sure the bags are working correctly , I took out the R32 out of the garage for some sick sunrise shots. I hope you like them ! ✔-

-✔ Ahh man , the sunrise in the dock area is always so nice... No wonder Japan is called "The land of the rising sun" ! This thing is gonna radically change in the next few days because of the R's meet , and thinking about the R's meet reminds me that I should also prep up my R35 as well ! That car is so sick , I can't tell you guys how ... I dunno ... "unholy" it feels ! It's full of technology and I love it ! I also have to take the R35 for a little track day soon , which will be at the R's meet ! I'm more than sure that the organisers of the meet will hold a little race or something on the Fuji Speedway , so that's gonna be the perfect time to test out what the R35 can really do on the track ! Anyway , some things also changed on the R35 , so let's move on to that ! ✔-

-✔ I don't know if it's too visible , but if you have good memory you'll realise that I've changed the tyres on the wheels. The old tyres which were Yokohama S'Drive tyres were giving the car too much of a "monstertruck" look , so I decided to go with some stretched tyres to get an overall better look. I've also got my license plate for the R35 , so that means that I can finally drive the car as a daily and not have to worry that I'll get pulled over by cops. So yeah , the R35 looks much better now , but there's something that throws me off on this car. It's the color. It's like a Silver Gray color , and I really dunno what to say about it ! It definitely looks really good , but I think I might change the color of this thing in the future , to get a more unique look , and actually , heck , I'll send this thing to paint tomorrow as well along with the R32 , I already have the color in mind so I'll just call the paint shop owner after I'm done writing this update. Anyway , it's gonna be another reveal on Monday. Keep your eyes on the forum on Monday , because you'll be surprised by the colors of the R32 and R35 ! ✔-

-✔ After I've put the BBS with fresh tyres on the R35 , I decided to go drive it for a bit , just to celebrate that the R35 finally has a license plate. It's so fun flooring this thing on the Wangan ! The VR38 screams and makes really nice noises , that's for sure. I'm not gonna change anything performance wise in this car , because why would I ? It's already a really good and fast car ( even though it got it's ass kicked by a freaking S15... ). It feels great and the interior , ahh , I feel like I've said this too much by now , the interior is so comfy ! The bucket seats are really nice and the trim inside looks really good , though I wished this thing was manual , it would've been just crazy ! But yeah , I'm really happy that I own a V-spec R35 now , it's the dream car of many car enthusiasts and it was once my dream car as well , and looks like I own one now haha ! Also , huge thank you to my friends who pretty much supported me through my career and life , it's just crazy how cars can unite people and make life long friendships ! ✔-

-✔ After I've hooned around the Wangan for a while , I decided to go back to the shop and just chill for the rest of the evening , but then Mackay asked me if we could race my R33 vs the R35 , and I said yes straight away. He drove the R35 and I drove the R33 and man oh man ! I can't believe I'm saying this but even the R33 kicks the R35's ass ! Well , to be fair , the R35 is heavier and weaker , but I still can't believe how a car from '94 can kick a brand new car's ass ! The funny thing is that I've built the R33 for less money than I bought the R35 , and I'm 100% not afraid to say this , but maybe after all the R35 wasn't worth it ! xD But yeah , the difference in comfort from the R35 to the R33 is pretty much like day and night , you just can't compare the two. I'm more of a "built not bought" guy myself so I can't lie to you guys , I would've rather bought an R34 and built it to be an absolute beast , but at the end of the day , if I ever want to sell the R35 , I can easily do it. I'm not saying I will , but just in case something bad happens , I can get around 3 times the money I bought the R35 back , and if you do a little bit of math... 56000V$ x 3 .... yeah , you get the point , I could pretty much be a wealthy ass mofo if I wanted to ! xDDD Ahh , anyways , I really don't like to brag about my possessions or money , because I'm not that type of guy , but you always gotta appreciate the new cars as well , after all , the R35 is still a GTR and in my heart , it's still a Skyline , even if some people may say it's not a Skyline ( which it actually isn't , because Nissan dropped that name from the R35 ) , it still belongs to the GTR family , along side with all the other generations of the Skyline. ✔-

-✔ Well , everything ends with a casual Wangan cruise at night in the R32. Oh man , that car feels and looks so good , I love it ! But yeah , really cool things are coming soon so make sure you check my thread when I upload. I promise you , you're gonna like what you see and I'm more than sure that you'll come back to see more awesome cars , so yeah , that'll be all for now , not many things have happened but I had fun in these past few days for sure ! So yeah , I'll see you guys next time and take it easy , godspeed homies ! ;) ✔-
