We've come a long way from where we began !
○ What is up my dudes ? ○ Sorry for not posting for a while , but all the parts came in for the Supra , including the very sick and very secret rims that I got for it... Y'all 'bouta be amazed ! ○ VS-XX baby !!! These look hella dope !!! ○ The rim specs are : 19"x11 all around , so , they are really thicc ! ○ The rims came with Michelin 255/25 R19 tyres all around. I really hope these tyres will grip up because I have some huge power goals for the Supra. ○ So , I can't tell you how hyped I am to send this thing to paint tommorow ! Just wait guys, the Supra is gonna be a goddess when she comes back from repainting ! ○ Anyway , I have to say that the OEM aero looks amaizing ! I wonder if any of you know the color she's gonna be... ○ So , let me elaborate on why I didn't post these past days... ○ I've worked day and night to get the perfect fitment on the bumpers , sideskirts , fenders and the new door. I've also transferred the blinkers from the old fenders to these Seibon ones and I've took the badges , the trunk taillight and the rear windshield from the old rusty trunk and put them onto this new one. Here's a quick booty pic : ○ I have to say that we've really come a long way from where we began , 'cuz if you look back to how the Supra looked when I first got it , you'll realise how much time and effort it took to bring it back to its former glory. ○ So , yes. I've also installed the Tein coilovers and the brakes. Because the brake kit I've ordered contained the brake discs , brake pads and brake lines , I had to buy some Wilwood calipers. Anyway , let me give you some specs , so , I'm running Tein Street Flex coilovers , Stoptech front and rear brake discs with Stoptech brake pads and Wilwood TX6R 6 piston calipers all around. The front discs are drilled and the rears are slotted. Of course all of the discs are ventilated as well for maximum brake efficiency. Here's a better look at them : ○ Under the hood everything is stock for now. The 2J is completely stock , its a twin turbo of course and it is coupled to the V160 transmission that the car came with. This being a Toyota engine , I'd say that it is hella reliable , and as of now it runs without any problems ! I've also installed a brand new Optima battery because the old one was quite old... from 1994 to be exact. ○ The interior has been completely restored and everything is in absolute perfect condition. In order to get the interior to not smell like hell I had to strip everything down to the chassis , so I'm really glad everything looks and smells so good... ○ So , thats kinda all for this update. The Supra will be back from painting on Monday , but I assure you that its going to be worth the wait. ○ Anyways , I'll see ya guys around ! Stay stoked ! |
