((let's just say the engine is coming from japan into the USA))

It shouldn't be long until the engine arrives. In the meantime, I've taken a look around town and found some second-hand AP1 wheels at a car parts shop, so I snagged a set for around V$559. Also found some AP2 headlights for V$700, pretty pristine condition so they were pretty pricey. After that, I came back to the shop to get the wheels installed and the headlights, which cost me around V$1,200 for the labour. The boffins talked about ballasts or something like that, but reassured me that putting AP2 lights on an AP1 is doable, so I left them to it.

Here's how it stands now. Still missing tail lights, hood, seats and a steering wheel, but I'm pretty hopeful.
