Time Attack day !
So , I'm back. The time attack was a BLAST ! I had so much fun and I won the 3rd place ! I didn't expect myself to be so good at grip driving , but I guess the car helped me a lot. Also , I weighted the car before going to the event and it weights about 1100KG or 2425 pounds. While driving , I felt a little bit limited in speed and acceleration... maybe I'll throw on a turbo on that SR sometime in the future. At the moment the engine makes around 180-200HP with a bored block and nothing else done to it. Anyway , as a prize for winning the 3rd place , they gave me 1500V$. The 2nd place got a 3000V$ prize and the 1st place got a 6000V$ prize. I'm pretty satisfied with the place I got , but I'll do 110% next time So , the event was held at the Horse Thief Mile track which is not too far away from me. I might go there and drift in the future. I also saw a bunch of 240SXs there and some S14 but other than that , I was the only guy there with such a old car. I'm almost done on changing the suspension on the 350Z so , stay stoked ! Also , there's a car meeting tonight so , I'm gonna take the 180sx there , since it's my show car. A friend called me yesterday and told me that he managed to blow up his 2JZ. I don't even know how and why that happend but he said he'll get his car at my shop so we can take the engine out and do a engine swap. His car is a S15. He said he'll be here in the afternoon so , expect an engine swap soon !!! Balance : 13625V$+1500V$(3rd place prize)=15125V$ Left |
