Finally got the Bentley W12 motor shoe horned into my Z28. Engine has been tweaked from the 1000HP build up, overbored to 8.8 litres, bigger exhaust valves breathe the methanol fuel. Turbo's are at very low boost as I can't reduce the compression ratio, but it's now giving almost 1,800 HP and the nicest torque/power curves I've seen.
RWD setting with fairly tall first 3 gears, on drag radials at 1.2 Bar pressure gave me 8.6 secs 1/4 mile out of the box... fine adjustments have got it down to 7.9 at 178 mph. Quickest car I've got at the mo, and the engine is bullet proof as are the turbo's. Great engine.
