well i always used fraps and the compressed the video to wmv(windows media video) format via sony vegas. with hd 24p at 4.8mbs video rate i get 100mb file for 3 minutes.

Added 2 minutes later:

by turning angle i mean the option which you have in slr editor in wheels section when u choose for the wheel to turn more than 35 degrees(which is default) to more like 45-50 for drifting appliances.
