You know what I need?
Money.

I need lots and lots of money, because cars ain't cheap. And I've got the perfect plan:

I'm going to flip cars.

If you're not familiar with what flipping is, it's the buying of cheap cars, reconditioning them, and then selling them on for a higher price.

I was considering whether or not this would be a good idea when I came across an ad for this online:

A 2004 Honda Integra Type-S in Pearl White. The car looked pretty rough in the photos, but the dealer selling it was just down the road from me, so I decided to go have a look anyway.

The car was far from perfect, but it was mechanically sound.

Visually, it was a crapbox. The clear coat on the hood was peeling off and the paint was faded, the rear left fender had a large scrape, and the valve cover was a mess, among other things. But once I test drove the car, I knew that it was perfect. The K20 had just over 150,000kms on it, but it drove like it just rolled off the showroom floor. The shifts were quick and precise, and the car had plenty of grunt. As an added bonus, the interior was immaculate.

The car was listed for 180,000 yen, but I negotiated it down to 165,000 because of the horrible exterior condition. Long story short, I drove home in an Integra!
