Remember that bug you swatted at last week? You thought you got it.

But it lived.

And it's pissed.

Why yes, those are Cragar Keystones wrapped in Firestone rubber.

But there's gonna be more on that later.

First things first, it's regarding the car that was stolen from me not too long ago. I still cry sometimes.

But, my insurance finally got back to me. I'm going to be recieving a payout of a smooth, cool 15,000 V$. Which is fair, considering (based off of my junior accounting) I spent a total of 16,472 V$ on it, from buying it to finding it gutted.

So, with my pockets sagging like an old man's nutsack, I splurged. A lot.

First, I got a set of Cragar Keystones for the Bug. 5s on the front, 11s on the rear, with Firestone rubber all around.

Only if I had a engine to like, give power to those tires. Soon (TM).

And the Miata...

Mmf~

The Miata is about done, it's only the minor things now.

Oh yeah, it's that kind of car now.

With the 7 fucktons of money I got from the FC, I also splurged hard on the NA.

While the driveline is unchanged from it's earlier iteration, the suspension hasn't left a single bolt unturned.

Taking a cue from how well the brands worked with the FC, I bought KSport GT Pros for the Miata, and a Wilwood Big Brake Kit as well.

I got teary eyed when I noticed that the brakes are the same size as the ones the FC had.

I also got brand new Watanabes in 15x10, wrapped in the tried and tested Dunlop Direzzas that have seen service on pretty much every car I've owned.

Additionally, a Spec Miata rule update left several racers with out-dated rollcages. Hence, I was able to buy this not Spec Miata legal, but still FIA certified cage. And yes, it came with the padding.

With some free advertising space for the company I work for, I can happily say the car's at a point where if I never modified it again, I'd be happy.
