Oh yeah, i heard of many different fixes but i think i only tried the first i'm saying below.

Probably the easier if you're not good at in depth scripting, is changing the "click" mesh to a cube or move it outside compared to the render mesh, so that you can click on a position away from the spring and still be able to select it.

The second, which i never tested but should work, is modifying the renderable distance from the garage java, i heard that setting it to a short distance fixes the issue.

The third and last, is being patient and pointing above or below the shock absorber(few centimeters below the end of the shock absorber mesh, on mr.sir ones at least), there you find the click for each spring.
