^ I think most of V6 swapped Miatas have that 2.5 engine, so you can't go wrong with it. :)

So yesterday we pretty much finished the #ProjectMX5 V6 swap, but today we found out that the new heads need some work. They fit on the engine but there is a bore difference between the 4.0 and the newer 3.7 engine, so we took the Miata to a nearby engine specialist to fit bigger valves and make the ports the same size. Not only that, the camshafts had to be tuned for the new valves too. After some tests the V6 was running fine on all cylinders, so the Miata is drivable now! It doesn't have an exhaust pipe yet, probably i'll just straight pipe it cause i don't think the V6 will do it's best with the stock exhaust. :P I didn't make any photos then, but you'll see when i go for a drive with Phonexius. ;) After we sorted this out we installed some 1JZ parts on his 180, but when i saw the R33 without suspension and engine i knew that he has some big plans for it. Also i gave him V$800 cause he gave me the Miata and R33 is costing him a lot!

Meanwhile i got some news from the boys at Side to Side HQ: First, here are the new wheels and brakes i got for the Chevelle, it was expensive af but worth it. I was thinking of a suspension upgrade as well but they already fitted the wheels so we'll see about that later.

3Style's 180SX got some new wheels, he traded the BBS with our JDM supplier Tyretear for those AVS model 6, on top of that he got a pair of Recaro SR4 seats and a Nardi steering wheel.

It turned out that 180's not so clean as it seemed, cause 3Style found some rust on the inside of the rear fender. He already sanded it a bit, for now it looks like rust was only on the surface.

And just as one project is getting done, here comes another one. :D Skip found this thing on Craigslist and the seller really wanted to get rid of it so he brought it home for only V$200. No suspension, no engine, no nothing but from what i've seen from the photos the body looks alright. It's almost a bare shell so it's a blank canvas for a new project. :)
