Well Phoenexius, I did have fun over in the land of the rising sun.

My first steps back home, not so much.

We left Japan in the later night, getting us in Los Angeles early in the morning.

While yes, the ride back was a comfy way to get over jet lag, the surprise, shock, and heartbreak happened when I got home.

I took these photos today, facing the ate I stepped in.

You know when you get home after a long day, and something like your dog is there to greet you?

The feeling you get when that feeling of seeing something you love again was robbed from me when I cracked open that gate.

The question marks should indicate what's missing right away.

Yup, the FC wasn't where I left it when I left for Japan last week.

It was then I realized I hadn't had to unlock the gate when I entered; the chain with bolt-cutter marks was found a few feet away in the gutter.

It makes sense they stole the FC, as well. The Miata was locked in my garage with the wheels off, and the R34 is way too much of an attention-getter to off-load it on the down low.

It doesn't make it hurt any less.

I've talked with my insurance, and the cops as well. I was hesitant with the latter, as the RX-7 is/was borderline street legal.

But right now, it's literally all or nothing.

I've got no clue when the break in happened, it could have been the hour after I left, or the day before I got back.

I just hope it turns up, I've got way too much in that car, more than money, to give up this easily.

If you're in the LA area, please, please keep your eyes out for this.
