Buff me upBeing busy with life made me abandon my project car a bit. But not much - the turbo is here, Along with other small changes. And it's amazing. Just the turbo and camshaft setting buffed it up to 705BHP@7750RPM according to dyno we've ran. But it wasn't that easy to achieve. Actually, I was afraid to drop full 4 bars it was set to, because it is a lot, and I don't want to break the engine. Trial and error me and Mike found out that a little under 2 bars will be good for everyday ricer bashing use. I might even set it lower, because - who needs that much anyway (hate me now). Also we needed piping to fit intercooler, which I couldn't find any over the Internet. So, we went to local shop and ordered custom one Except of turbo (and intake/exhaust manifolds), the camshaft was improved too - made custom ones of JUN rolls (I don't know how they are called) with Tomei pulleys. I heard that it should make whole engine last longer (which I hope they will, I don't mind breaking it, especially when it's my only car I use for my carguyism and daily driving) I can say I've finished my work on engine. At least until something will break. Barely fitsNow - suspension. I know what I'm going to do with this, now just to get them. |
