Soo, the past 3 days have been a LOT of work. My dad helped me inspect every angle of the car and look for possible problems and rust hotspots. Luckily, we hardly found a thing! The car did receive some rust treatment before, and it's been a garage car, after all!
So, after checking the whole thing in my dad's garage (which I may use now to work on the Miata), I took the roof off. And I will sell it, if anyone is interested, even though I doubt anyone of y'all is currently a Miata owner. Might aswell keep it for whenever there's a chance to get a good price for it. It's in great condition, after all. If you are interested, you could get it for V$220 o.n.o.  Next thing to do was to attach my new plates and to get rid of the Mazdaspeed replica wheels. The ones I bought from Starsky arrived and we put on some okay-ish tires my dad had lying around. It's not for long, so they're okay. While I was doing that, my dad decided to install the decorative part I ordered from an online shop (V$25). A Domokun for the rear view mirror. I just love it. We also built some cardboard teeth for the front bumper, because I had seen them on another car in an online forum for Miata owners.    So, this is how it looks now. I'm happy with what we managed to get done this weekend and I am looking forward to my first legal spin on the road, which I will take tomorrow.
