Project RSX
Finally! I have figured out what I wish to do with the DC5 build. It has been awhile since I have driven a crazy low, tyre tucking onikyan build like that of my old VW Jetta. And I can't lie to you guys, I miss it. So please, come along on this journey as I attack this Acura with a little bit of that "Devil Camber" style. I was able to snag a few pics for your guys while going out to lunch with a co-worker. (yes, that building is where I work)
While the Z has been away, I have had a little time last week to start on the Acura. Yow may have (or have not) noticed that it is alittle lower. This car now sits on ISC Suspensions coilovers with custom springs by Swift. Spring rates for the build come out to 14k front as well as 12k in the rear. I have them set at the setting it comes with from factory, as I still need to get the fenders rolled and pulled a bit to run the wheel and tire setup I am thinking of. In addition, I also slapped on some Megan Racing rear LCAs and fitted some new camber bolts to get even more adjustability.
As we move to the back of the car, we can see that I have furthered my prep work by getting these 3inch blast pipes fabricated up and installed. I am still running the stock Cat and resonator for now, but if they start to grind on the road alittle too much when I finally put it on the ground that may change. The car is loud, but it isn't completely bone shattering like the roar from the Z's Toyota v8 lol (fun fact: the Z is still running open headers lol). In addition, I removed some of the badges in the rear and took off the wing on the trunk. I got a cool little idea planned for that.
Stayed tuned for more, I am ready to start banging frame again lol
P.S.- forgot to mention I got the windows tinted too, I don't really consider that a "mod" per say
