Thanks fellas, and @Mister_Softee, the car cost $1,200USD alone. Importing, registration and other fees cost me $2,600, everything totaling to $3,800USD which isn't too bad for a project car. I haven't done much in a while due to the fact that I've been daily driving the car to and from work. However, I did pick up some stuff from the Driftworks website:
- HSD Monopro coilovers - Driftworks front camber arms - Japspeed rear camber arms - Driftworks tension rods -Some Powerflex polyurethane bushings With these parts installed, the suspension feels much more rigid and responsive. Some pictures of my new height: Now that I had a proper suspension setup, I looked into getting a new set of wheels on threepiece.us: Weds Kranze Cerberus II 18x9 +10 upfront, 18x9 -0 at the rear. Wrapped in 215/35/18 tyres, these wheels fit my car perfectly and give me the exact look I pictured in my head. With minor fender rolling and -3 camber all around, I achieved a head-turning sorta VIP stance. I've decided to step back on modding the JZX100 for a bit and look into purchasing a stock daily driver so I can work on this one without having to worry anymore. With that being said, my next update should involve another car. |
