Liking everyones build so far. Would love to have a BRZ/FRS/GT86 some day... well I can dream eh?
Anyways the old CA18 is in my s13 now! I borrowed my bros enginelift and got it in pretty quickly. Didnt have to do any modification to the mounts, it slipped right in. Here is how it turned out!   (I need to install my damn headlight soon!) For future mods I would like a bigger intercooler aswell as relocate the piping from the turbo to the intercooler. I dont like the bend it has but it will stay for now. It does the job I guess. I wired up the bare essentials to get the car running. Even if it's running super-rich and the idle is all over the place it still runs. It only needs a desperate tune-up. Probably a new headgasket aswell since it's leaking. I've got one coming from FRSPORT, should be here any day now.   Next up I stripped the interior. Took out a bunch of stuff like rear seats, floor mats, roofmat(?), main carpet, trunk carpet. The list goes on forever. So if anyone wants any of it let me know!Everything but the doorpanels is for sale. After I got all interiorbits I wanted out the car I gave it a good wash inside, repaired any inperfections such as rust and then painted it the same as the rest of the car. Turned out decent IMO.  Took a quick step back to collect my thoughts and snapped a picture of the car in it's current state. It has potential and I cant wait til it's ready to hit the streets! |
