The Month Long search is over guys! Looks like Joe came through this time. 1994 Supra SZ. The body is straight as an arrow, which is surprising since this car looks to be a love child between green and blue crayons. This had to be someones project car that they were just done with. looking under the hood, the wiring for the 2jz is present and looks to be fairly new and well done. lucky for me haha I hate wiring. I am especially glad that the Aerodeck top was still in tact. the rubber seals looked new but sort of loose. The interior, though very aged, was still in tact and complete.
![]() ![]() It is safe to say Joe had my attention. I only came in with 10K saved up, so after about an hour of negotiation, I was finally able to talk Joe into giving me the shell for 6,250. Yes, I paid that for a shell.. but.. SUPRA!! All ecstatic, I was eager the start my restoration. After a nice rinse, Joe was gracious enough to haul this metal down to the local body shop for sand blasting and primer. I aided in the strip down and was able to get the guys to start blasting this evening. the top was done first and I took it home to reseal it. the wing was not blasted, as it was actually the best part on the car! Here are Pics: ![]() ![]() The sand blasters charged me about 1,000 for all the work leaving me with about 2,750 to play with. ![]() Put the wing back on before I left (: Gosh I am so happy. does anyone have a 2jzge for sale? I kinda like the idea of keeping it the original NA style and on my bookstore budget I probably cant afford a twin-turbo yet |
