you know that you can replace them without need to restart the game yes? you just need to go in the car folder, set the texture you want then go back ingame and enter the map or enter and exit the catalog :P
With so much drama in the V-S-T, it's kinda hard being Bigg B-O-double-S-ninetythree B)
