That's a pretty beautiful Subaru you got yourself dxg1997. Can't wait to see where you take that car.

So I did say I'd go turbo on the SR, buut I kind of backtracked on my words and uh, I'm not peddling an SR anymore.

Oh what motor could it be? Surely not a Japanese straight six accompanied with an orgasmic soundtrack..

Oh well I guess it is a Japanese straight six accompanied with an orgasmic soundtrack. Sold the complete N/A SR for a good $2000 seeing it was in good shape and had some bolt on mods, and ended up picking up a 2JZ block. Built it up with a Turbonetics TN-66 ball bearing turbo, HKS 1000cc injectors, Blitz frontmount, TRD cambelts, HKS 9.5" cams, and many more good quality parts. Currently on low boost, 497 horsepower at the wheels. Once I get the car back from MA Motorsports in Maryland with a good tune on it, will begin cranking up the boost.

Yo guys, just bought this RX7 from an ex drifter, he said he gave on the project because he was in serious debt. At first when I saw the car I couldn't believe my eyes. Full stock 2JZ with some clean ass RPF1's. He begged me to take it off his hands, so I bought it for about $5000. As of now it's a shell with only the engine and a complete running gear. Also currently at Marcus' garage, just wanna see if he can help me out with the door and some part deliveries.

As you can see the engine is clean as hell. Never seen a 2JZ so clean but I didn't get why he put in a RX7, he must've been building something mad as hell.

The door is fooooked lol. In Marcus' garage atm. I'll leave it there until I can get a battery too.

Have never seen such a clean motor, I'll have the suspension kit all set up for you next time you're around. I'm just going to find an OEM FD RX7 door, yours is pretty banged up :P

I haven't made any posts within the last couple of months or so because I was busy and up to my neck in work. Needless to say, the S13 has a repaint and new wheels now. I fixed all of the dents and dings from drifting, primed her and gave a double coat of green. I also sold my previous set of wheels and got some Rays LMGT4 reps in 17x9.5 all around with a 25mm spacer at the rear. I don't have much to say about the BRZ but it has been my daily so far and I'm loving it.

Repaint,new wheels.

Finally got a proper 3" turboback exhaust system from Apexi

New camber setup allows for some sick fitment at the front. 2.0 degrees at the front and 1.0 at the rear.

I decided to swap the V8 in 911 to V6, not a big power loose, since after tuning V6 still runs about 1000hp.... Why? Well, because the new project came:
It is a 1973 nissan C110. It came without engine, wheels and brakes, front fenders and front end, but with fully restored Vstanced suspension. I had some racing brembo disks laying in the back of the garage, same with BBS wheels, and a V8 from 911 which didn't fit well.... Also, I was looking for front part of the car on the junkyard, and found pretty front end and custom fenders with flares from a crashed drift car with heavily damaged rear. My goal is to make it looking like an American muscle car, but with a bit of Japanese JDM style.

And on the side note.... I am stopping with speed driving on public roads now. I saw a nasty crash in the newspaper. The guy was driving fast with BMW E39, lost control over the car which flipped, and crashed into a pole with a roof, almost killing a civilian. The car went over the fence on an empty field.

The driver died in the hospital.

@above I also hope so, but I always ran into issues with something when it was coming to end. First driving lesson. Bumped into a con when going back. First car. Didn't start at all. First tuning. Forgot to place camshafts. (afcourse, everything of this is fictional ;)

# dxg1997 : @Haku, I coulda done the exhaust for half of what you paid for it, I'm sure.

I only paid for the tips, I made from the manifold all the way back ;)

That exhaust on your STi though :-X :-X :-X ;) ;) It'll be good though.

That is a beautiful 240 Shaforostov, nice to see another S-Chassis here :)
While my S13 is in Maryland, I decided to hit the paint booth and get my JZX100 sprayed. Painted it a nice, dark purple colour.

What do you guys think?
I've also bought some Origin Lab aero for my S13 as well, so expect some stuff later on.

So, I finished the exhaust on the Subaru. I think it looks a hundred times better. Slightly bigger tips, wider pipe all the way back (2.5" to 3.75") with a crosspipe resonator. Comes all the way from the turbo with stainless steel.

Added 2 days later:

I went and fitted new brakes

Because this happened... They were right. Alsothough, the pads I have weren't really good for racing. I went to a track, and got one lap before the brake fluid totally boiled, and the pads failed, and I hit a wall at about 20 mph. I had the handbrake pulled and everything. When I put the new brakes, I put race fluid into the system after totally draining the system. I put racing pads onto it, and Endless 6 piston calipers front and rear. 380mm carbon ceramic rotors are "guaranteed to never fail"

For now, I'm borrowing the bumper off my buddies Blue Mica Subaru sedan, not wagon, and I LOVE the color of it. I may consider painting the wagon this color.

Thanks man, I'm trying my best to stay away from getting her banged up with drifting again. I ended up swapping my single barrel exhaust for a twin one that came off of a friend's DC5. Pretty nice, I'd say.

So my Type X replica rear bumper and Origin Lab side skirts came in, still waiting on the front bumper.

But I wanted to try something new.

Bought a set of fender flares for the front and rear, only have the fronts fitted. The widened front track really lets me dial in more steering angle which should help with mad entries. While Beebs was over working on his 2JZ RX7 he helped me out fitting the fenders, so definitely owe him one.

What do you guys think of the flares?

Nice flares, I like this style
Since C110 is in the paintshop, I've decided to make a cleanup of my rides and work a bit on other ones:
This is Chevy Apache, my workhorse, swapped hydro shocks and H&M Ultra low springs to a Street performance kit, and changed the seats.

Also, worked on my RUF RGT-8 a bit. In 1st build it had Subra boxer, but swapped it for a mazda rotary engine. Tuned the engine for better performance, and gave it a new rear bumper. Now I need to find mufflers for it :p

After Marcus and I working on his flares my parts came in. We worked on them and he fixed up my door. He gave some spare rims too. The RPF1's, Ima put them on my track Civic since they're only 16's. Relocated the battery to the trunk and I'm still waiting for a steering wheel and seats.

Decided to drop the 2JZ engine back at my garage at Bihoku and got a VR38DETT (I got connections lol). I think I might also get the Rocket Bunny kit since I really want a wide offset. Gotta love the sleepy eyes though.

Meanwhile Ima go out to practise in the GS while I wait for the parts. Will also go back to Marcus' garage later to fix up the rest of his parts.

Heavy update, here we go.

First off, I'm in pudsey again currently. This time I brought the R32 out for fun...

These wheels are incredibly rare and were custom made for the person I bought them off of... Genuine Super Advan V2s made in the size of 19x11 & 5x114.3. They only sold 17 and 18s.

These wheels aren't everyone's taste but for the sake of rarity and keeping it different, I think they're awesome.

Oh also new 330mm Brembos incase you noticed. They help me do things like this.

I don't know if I'm allowed to tell you how fast I was going, just that the speedo in the car goes up to 180KM/H and the needle got stuck there about 7 seconds before this photo was taken. You can use your imagination.

Back in Valo before I left, I maybe have done some turbo things...

A couple turbo things...

S13 has the stock sequential turbo set up from the FD3S's 13B and it runs great, 370 gets a nice single turbo kit pushing it to roughly 490 on low-med boost. (needs some tuning for more accurate capability)

Also met this dude while driving.

stock vs me.

I take lots of rear shots. Because that ass is so fat.

Hey guys! My name is Russell, and this is my 1971 Ford Escort MK1 Estate. I've put too much money and work into it, but I think it was worth it. I got it as an inheritance from my uncle's death, and when he was alive (I didn't actually know him to well, I just got the car because I like them) the car just sat in a garage. It was BONE stock when I got it, and I've put every penny I've earned into it, which is about $25k. I swapped the old engine out for a CA18DET, and lowered it onto Koni shocks and springs with some Brembo 296mm rotors and 4 piston calipers. It's got 17" Advan racing wheels, mounted in some Toyo Proxes tires. Shes a show car, never raced, except light to light sometimes O:-) She's got about 300 hp headed to the rear wheels. I'm actually looking to buy some beater, preferably 4 cylinder rwd, like an S13, that I can learn to drift in. I sometimes borrow my Dad's Camaro to drag race, which is my main source of income, but I'm NOT gonna drift in a 1200 hp fat tired Camaro xD

I'M BAAAAAACK!
Had a nice 2 week trip across the US. I was also lucky enough to see a NASCAR event. The Varietta held up pretty good. Good thing I've serviced the engine before the long trip. I got phoned by a buddy of mine called Justin and he wanted to enter some amateur racing series. He was like: "Tom you're good at this shit, why not build me a race car?" He needs an US model for the race. So I went to the local junkyard and found this battered '71 Camaro:

It's nothing more than a rolling chassis. Was cheap, tho. When I loaded this car up on the car trailer, the guy reappeared and said: "You forgot this!"

"It's a rusty shell from a beetle. Why did I forgot this?" - "I want it gone. Just take it for free." He rolled it to me on a cart and I took it home after the Camaro was in my shop safe and sound.
So what am I gonna do with it? Well, the Camaro will be a race car. But the bug will be completely restored and I'll daily it. The registration on the S13 is about to expire anyway.

@Haku: Love the wheels on the Skyline.

It's been a few days, got lots of work done to the 240. Haku your Z is so sexy.

Beebs came by and helped me finish getting the rear flares installed. Looks beautiful and I'm very satisfied.

Went down to the DMV and got my car registered, now I can take it out on the open road :) Took it out for a spin around downtown Valo, the W58 five speed holds up well, nice short shifts and a linear clutch. Definitely going to need a V160 6 speed when I up the power on the 2J.

Also bought a set of Kouki tailights, sold my BN Sports inverted trunk and Rocket Bunny ducktail and just bought a 240SX trunklid from a junkyard. Got everything but the front bumper painted up, and a few days later I decided to uh, go big or go home.

So I went and checked out the S13 pickup.... and ended up buying it. The thing is awesome! Of course, shes a little beat up, the over fenders are in pretty bad shape, and it has some knockoff OZ wheels, but I love it. I paid $5000 for it.

BUTTT the main reason I bought it was because of the bone stock 340 small block in it. Has to run without a filter because of hood clearance, but she makes 275 at the flywheel, so about 245 at the wheels. open diff, not an LSD or anything (yet), and I can't decide if I want to build this car up as a drifter or a work truck... If I go the drfter route, I'm going to remove the hood, and put a supercharger onto the engine, and a sweet looking air filter, but work truck would be more internal engine work. What do you guys think I should do?

First rip out that boat anchor of an engine. Drinks way too much gas, is heavy as hell and it will affect the handling of the car. A SR20 is well enough for this car. If you want torque use a RB26 or a 2JZ.

After 2 weeks the Camaro has new endless brakes and a sweet Tein suspension. Justin bought a new engine: LS3 twin turbo. He will help me with the car. He isn't a good mechanic but he doesn't stand in my way.

Since the 240 is pretty much done, I've had an itch to get another car. So I went and satisfied that itch.

Legit PS13 import from Japan, still had the original Japanese tags on it. The car was a little dusty, and the SR wasn't running 100%, but I was sold. Went down to the DMV to get it registered, but on the way home, I goofed.

In the midst of my excitement of a new S-Chassis I forgot to put the new plates on and left the Japanese plates. Cop was nice and let me off with a warning, so that's a plus. Can't wait to tear into this thing.

Well like Haku said, for an S-Chassis this thing is pretty mint. Buuut, as we all know they never stay mint..

A friend of mine called me up and said he needed me to pick him up, since his car was broken down on the side of the road and BCAA had towed his car away. So I swung by, picked him up in the 13, and he wanted to drive it so naturally being the great friend I am, handed him the keys. Hops in, drops the clutch and lights up the rears.

He's really beating on my car, driving it hard. We get to an intersection, and he swings out, flicks it left, and back right and rips the handbrake, before dumping it again. Then he swings wide, too wide, and suddenly we're in the wrong lane, and the front end of a Vandura is staring at us.

Rips the e-brake, tries to bring it back, but we both anticipate as the 13 slams into the Vandura. Got all the legal work cleared up, my car was towed back to my garage a day later, and this is how she sits now.

Gotta pull the front end off, frame is slightly bent, need to pull that back out, pretty much rebuild the front running gear, and I'm debating to go Onevia.

We can do a S13-only car meet with that many S13s around..
Speaking of which; I've removed the roof rack and closed up the holes.

My dad showed up as well. I don't know what the hell went on in his head when he got that plate back then. He couldn't recall XD
