Meanwhile, I sent the Viper off for a paint. Black with white stripes.

@Facepalm you do realize you have to meet regulations right? XD

Added 3 minutes later:

So, I decided to get up early this morning and drove around, I saw this old man and he had lots of VW's in his driveway so I went to tell him he had a nice car collection, and at the corner of my eye I saw this. I asked him how much he wanted and he said $2,000. Has a 2.9L VR6, planning on doing some stuff to it. But i have to get someone to redo the interior and I gotta buy some new gauges. I already ordered some new body panels, and are going to be here in a few days, Excited!!

@Ey papa, first of all you got to be in an invited team to participate, but you can join in as opposing competition! And it has to be over 2,200lb and less than 450Hp, Racing Spec optional.

Wait wait is there some sort of race happening? I'd like to participate just need the details.

EDIT: Found em'. So non-Predator Tuning memebers can participate as opposing team? Nice, I'll try and sort out a car for the event.

I'd use my Celica Supra but it's too powerful and wouldn't fit in the regulations, but I have something else in mind. Got news that the friend of a friend crashed his car and can't pay for the repairs right now, so he's selling it. I went over to check it out.

The car is a Volvo 850R. The front-right quarter is pretty bent up and it's got some bad scratches along the right side, but apparently engine and radiator are all in good shape.

Took it out for a quick spin around the block and it seems like it drives okay. I'm thinking to prep it for the Tsukuba race if I can participate.

@Haku, I know its more or less stock, with some TSW wheels. I can't remember the name of the street, but I know its one of the main ones over there. Its bright blue, and he wants 5k for it. Might be able to haggle him down because he claims most of the money is the wheels (1.5k in wheels and tires lol)

@ PTG, can I actually join your garage with my own garage? USe it as a sort of outpost thing. I'd like to enter the race with the Sport Quattro. Dry weight, with no interior panels is 2600 or so. I want to put the LS9 from the Kamaro in it temporarily (its got 430 hp on pump gas) and get some lower suspension. Supposed to be getting it back pretty soon.

@dxg1997 Yeah you can, as long as we get people to participate, we could make these events more common! Good luck on your build, there's about One and a half weeks left to get ready!

@David_2709, so basically you are going to spend 21 days building a car for a competition... This is why Rp is a useful thing.

Where is the race held at? I might be able to tag along. Sadly not with any car since I gotta save my funds for Valo Matsuri :( Anyone offering ride-alongs?

On another note my car is ready for Valo Matsuri. I got it tuned by a local fella and everything works fine now. Infact I took it out for it's first real drifting session the other day and manage to snap some pics along the way :)

I picked up a GoPro mount and thought i'd test it out. Works really good, no complaints there. At first, I thought it would be shaky but it's infact really sturdy! So except some GoPro footage in the future :))

Im liking the angle im getting. Could possibly get more out of it but this will do just fine for now.

I went to my local junkyard to pick up some wheels for when im drifting. Since I dont have a tyremounting-machine(sorry dont know the proper name) I have to bring a couple pairs of extra wheels to the events since I somehow go through them quite fast( How can this be?)
Anyways, they had shitloads of old worn out rims for extremely low prices. You could get a full set of 16 inch rims for $150 depending on the condition they were in so anyone looking for cheap rims to refurbish or for other purposes go over to Valo Auto Wreckers just of the main highway going south!

@2jzCookie You can also ride along in the Mighty Quattro! I got the engine out of the Kamaro, and the trans (luckily, it's 4wd >=-3), but gotta make my own mounts and hammer out the tunnel... Who'da thunk it, that no one wants an LS9 in an Audi Sport Quattro? xD I went out and got some decent racing suspension, Recaro seat, and wheel, and found some lights and windows that fit (Their actually from a UrQuattro, but they still fit) Greg said that the car WILL be ready tomarrow. It's amazing how fast that guy works. I can't decide what wheels I want to get for the thing. Anyone got any ideas?

ALSO ATTENTION EVERYONE!

Could some people design a "Daily Driven" sticker for the back of my 2004 Impretza? I've already put 1000 miles onto it, and really want to show that cars like that can be driven daily. I'll put all the ones submitted somewhere on the car. So, if everyone makes one, I could have about 15 DD stickers on my car :))

So heres an update on my 2.9L VR6 VW. I ended up taking her apart to get to the core of the engine, and it's quite clean, I cleaned it just in case and its cleaner than ever! I also welded my first Manifold! and placed the turbo on, running 14psi, not trying to blow the manifold. Harry would be proud.

And heres one of the new turbo and manifold!

Well, the Viper won't return from the paint shop. Shop owner decided he wanted to buy it, and since it isn't on regulations, it's sold. I have enough money to find a new car and buy it. I was looking around and found this:

It was an everyday grocery shopper. Bought it from an old man for a quite low price. It's not the fastest thing ever, but I will make it into a one off mean son of a bitch.
