and another opens, it can bring a lot of promise along.
Sure, you might be nervous about whatever is to come, but it's time to take stock of what you're leaving behind
and then look ahead.
And that´s exactly what i´ve decided to do , start a brand new chapter of my life !
As most of you guys already know , my name is Dominika AKA Domi ,i´m a 19 y.o cargirl originally from Slovakia , Europe , currently living in Saitama, Kantō region , Japan .
I used to study architecture and interior design at the Tokyo University of the Arts ,which led me to an internship ( which was well paid by the way ) at 宮原建築設計室 located
in Shibuya City , Tokyo . However things due to the " infamous" COVID-19 worldwide pandemic have changed , millions of people ( including me ) lost their jobs , the economy is suffering , actually EVERYONE is suffering because of this worldwide pandemic .
And due to the fact , that i´ve lost my job because of this , i had to sell all of my previous cars and basically start all over again in the land of a rising sun .
And since i got fired from my previous job , i´ve decided , that i´m gonna be Self-employed and create my own motorsport oriented shop here in Japan !
I paid all of the loans needed to get the shop into my own possesion , spent a fortune of money on renovating the whole shop from repainting all of the walls to replacing every single one lift in the shop to even replacing the old staircase and after few weeks of hard work ( and a lot of money ) the official Garage Nightkids湾岸 was born
and with 20 000V$ left in my bank account , the hunt for my ( not so first ) car begun !
After few days of finding the perfect car that also wouldn´t break my bank acc , i´ve found this :
a 1998 MITSUBISHI LANCER GSR EVOLUTION V in Scotia White , that was listed for sale on https://www.goo-net-exchange.com/ for ¥1,098,000 , which is roughly around 10 000$ ( 10,117.33 to be exact )
140 xxx.xx km´s on the odometer , well maintained , No major dents or rusted out bodypanels , just a littlebit of surface rust on the underbody but nothing too crazy , no serious tears in seats / excessive wear on the steering wheel , which have to say for a 22 year old car is pretty impressive but also i´m not really surprised . At the end of the day , it´s a rally legend and mitsubishi sure did a great job designing and manufacturing them ! I have to say , that i´ve always had a soft spot for evos (Especially for the CP9A chassis ) and i´m more than happy with my purchase ! Thankfully i don´t have to stress myself with passing the shaken inspection since this car has passed the inspection in January of this year!
Oh i almost forgot , apart from the Kakimoto N1 aftermarket catback exhaust ( which sounds quite questionable might i add - but it could also possibly be an exhaust leak or something )EVO 6 cluster and HKS green mushroom airfilter , the car is completely stock . But don´t worry , that is gonna change really (REALLY) soon ! (Duh) My main goal with this car is to restore it from the ground up by doing multiple stages , one after another .
- Suspension :
Replace all of the worn out old suspension components with OEM+ ones for better handling
- Brakes :
Big Brake kit upgrade to handle the future engine plans
- Engine :
Try to create an optimal and reliable setup with higher HP numbers than stock
- Exterior :
Personalize the car to my own taste
Well yeah , that´s my plan with this car !
I have to say , that it was pretty hard to insure this car and also register it to be able to drive it on the street during these
hard times , but i did it ! Now after the quarantine i can drive the car as much as i want to !
