Hello guys. After 3 years I'm glad to be back on the forum.
For the ones who don't know me this is my old build thread > CLICK
The end of 2017 was a crazy period of time for me,meaning that I needed to leave my home country Romania and move to a new one (Germany) with my girlfriend. Now I live in Hallbergmoos,Bavaria.
I kept the Integra registred in Romania for the moment because the insurance is too expensive here, but in the future I will registry it here in Germany.

Long story short: back on the forum again !

Some technical stuff about the car:
- 215,000 kms (192.000 kms when I bought it)
- 2.0 K20
- manual 6 speed
- Custom roll-cage - Mugen replica
- front - AP Racing 6P calipers & Brembo ventilated discs 332mm
- back - AP Racing 4P calipers & Brembo ventilated discs 278mm
- BC Racing Coilovers
- PUR LG01 + Toyo R888 semi-slick

Pitures:

Unfortunately for me,I had to cancel my VR6 Turbo Project, although it was pretty close to a finish.
All the mechanical stuff was complete, and only the electrics,ECU and the mapping was left to be done.
Here are the last shots before I sold it >

For the moment I'm using the Honda as a daily, but I'm looking forward to buy a new project car.

No need to take it down, because we have no snow here ...
This winter was more like a fall, with heavy rain.

I wasn't there when you were in the forums back then, so hello and welcome back! Man I love your DC5 soooo much, I'm a huge fan of track builds and your DC5 is spot on for track use :D Well I know you're aiming for Kanjozoku style after reading your old thread progress, but I guess you might know ex-Kanjo drivers still uses their cars as trackday cars at times. Most Kanjo cars emulates touring car racing styles after all. And then there's the fact that you're living in Germany, where there are a hell lot of racetracks around the country ;) (okay, I know there are only Oschersleben, Norisring and Nurburgring Nordschleife for SLRR, and Norisring is a street circuit so that's also off the list. Both Oschersleben and Nordschleife requires 6 hours drive from where you are)

Looking forward to see the DC5 in action and to see your new project car! :D

And about the finances, I can help you a little bit:

I kinda gave up to the idea of Kanjozoku, but I still do prefer the time-attack look.I'm looking forward this summer for a trackday for sure.Haven't decided yet where I'll go,but I will see.

Hello guys.

A bit late in the night, but I come with a small update for the Integra, and with big news: new project car starting from tomorrow.
I just bought it today,made the paperworks,and tomorrow it arrives.It is a BMW E39 3.0 petrol (M54B30) in a pretty good condition,non-M,some 19" wheels and a really nice interior.
But more about the new car tomorrow. For the moment just a quick picture with the Integra:

E39s are great cars, can't wait how you build it up! It was pretty expensive given that it doesn't have TUV and you have a V$1000 fix still to do but at least the body looks super clean. How come the control arms have to be replaced?

When I said it was cheap, was because of the body and the interior condition. And also the engine is pretty good except of the starter.TUV will not be a problem.
And yes,I'm replacing everything bc this is how I do stuff. The problem it's on one control arm,and some of the bushings are old,but I prefer to change the entire kit.

Hey guys. Some little updates for the bimmer:
- ordered 2 front fenders
- ordered this kit
- ordered also oil and filters

Monday I'm going to remove the starter to see what it's the problem(sometimes it doesn't start the engine unleas you hit it with a hammer).I suspect the collector coals are worn out,or the rotor locks up sometimes.

I traded the 19" over some 18" Alpina replicas. I needed something on 18" for passing the TUV,witch I'll be making soon, after I paint the fenders and mirrors.

'sup guys? It's been a while.Things changed a little bit.

Let's start with the Honda: It got sold. :|
It was a loud, crazy and fun car.I loved it. But I've decided to keep the E39 daily, and get a new project car for this summer.

Moving on the BMW,I'll make a short list with what happend in a chronological order:
-passed the TUV
-got registered
-got a set of BC Racing coils
-got a proper detailing - in and out.

It didn't hit the track but it hitted the streets a lot, trust me,hehe. But the next project will def. hit the track(and also the streets).

Hello guys.

Time for some news.

First things first,the E39 got a new M front bumper(complete with projectors,park sensors,headlight washers,brake air vents and lip),aaaand my boy it's back on 19".
I bought a set of Style 132 in the next configuration:

- 9j x 19 ET 48 front

- 10j x 19 ET 45 rear

- 225/35ZR19 Advan Neova AD07 front

- 255/30ZR19 Advan Neova AD07 rear

As a daily car,I'm gonna f*ck up the fenders for sure,but I have 0 regrets.It looks amazing.
Here are some shots:

Image

And more news:

The new project will be a drift project to be more specific, and it will be another BMW.This time I choose the E36 platform, with the 2.8i petrol engine(M52B28).
Tomorrow I go to pick up the car.I hope it's as good as the pictures and the owner says.I will post pics and more details as soon as possible.

Thanks man.Stay tuned for the E36.

Good day guys.
It took me a little, but I'm back home with my new project car.I had 2 crazy days, running around, firstly buying the car, then took it to TUV to get it registered and then finally came back home.

As I mentiond in my previous post,it's a 1997 BMW E36,with a 2.8i petrol engine(M52B28),210.000 kms and 193 BHP.
The car already runs on some V2 KW Coilovers, and with a 3.45 welded differential.Other than that, the car it's pretty stock.

Here are some pics:

Alright, now back to the E39,just a small update: I removed the front bumper to get it painted.

That's quite a promising E36, and I agree with @RocketBunnyS13: KW Suspensions and any BMWs are match made in heaven! BMWs on KW Suspensions have wonquite a lot of national and European touring car races and championships, so that's one huge reassurance about how it performs. And given it has welded diff, it should be ready for sideways action anytime. All it needs is proper wheels, and perhaps a bit more power. But of course, you can always go beyond that. Good luck for the project! ;)

When you lack power, give it a little bit more courage and it will slide for sure.
Thanks.

Hello everybody.

I've been busy these days, mostly with the E36 of course.
So let's start with yesterday:

- the front camber was changed (-2.5) with these.I read on some forums about this method, and I know it's not the most orthodox way,but it does it's job.
- bought a 17" set of Work Emotion CR Kai 17×9 +38 all around + wheel adaptors from 5 x 120 to 5 x 114.3

Here are some shots:

And the E39 got it's front bumper back:

And now for today I've called a buddy to my place that made me a straight exhaust with 2 exits on the back.No intermediate,no catalytic converter,no backbox, just a straight pipe full of sound pleasure.

Looks like the E36 drifts perfectly, nice wheels you got for it too! I hope you can keep it good looking while you're at it, most drifters across Europe often don't care about that

Thanks man. I don't care either but I'll do my best.

Hello guys.

Two days ago my aero kit from CliqTuning arrived -front bumper skirt, side skirts and rear bumper skirt.
So,being a bolt-on kit,I've managed to cover the holes on the side skirts and I've mounted them via silicone, and the front bumper was created by using the old one + the aero kit piece, merged together with fiberglass.
Before mounting I've painted them in white, because I like the unaesthetic look.

For the moment the rear bumper it's in the process of making, but I quite like the no rear bumper style.
