Hey guys.

Just got super excited about the new AE as I found it through the CAR/PART Search thread in here.

So what did I do?
Download the whole thing, deleted the AE86 I already had in the game and started the SLRR Editor to look after the engines. I'm on 2.2.1MWM by the way. Selected the AE86 and recieved following error after loading the engines:

It's an unhandled exception which says that the SLRR Editor 2.1 couldn't find

C:\Program Files\SLRR_STAGE1\cars\racers\AE86\Trueno\Kouki\cfg\Levin_coupe_zenki.cfg

Is this because I'm using 2.2.1MWM or is it because of the mod?

Thanks in advance for any answer.

Greetings :)

That's because this car has a different file structure, take a look at these pictures below:

So is there a way to rearrange the files?

And I also tried it on LE2MWM and it works just fine now, still would love to see it on 2.2.1MWM

After using the fix just go in the main cfg of the chassis and delete the engine entry's. After that it will work

The Problem is, the AE86 is build up differently.

There are 5 to 6 cfg folders.

# yurisminator : I got different engines to work with the AE86 using IceDs fix and a fix i found searching.

It's cause the only exhausts made for the car were part of the 4A-GE, so a universal one for all engines hasn't been made, as the creators only intended for the 4A to be put in there, hence the need to use a fix to put other engines in.

^ I think its because of the custom physics that were made. I have the Volvo 850 and it bounces around too.

that's a good point man^ -- p.s I know this is off topic for the 86
but I have a fc3s mazda rx7 and the suspension springs are out of the bonnet
and its getting rather annoying now
- is there a fix?? or do i have to use the editor(2.1) to fix it?

just make the chassis heavier in the main.cfg

Added 2 minutes later:

And if you want to add a muffler, just use this slot. Play with coordinates to move it around or simply move it ingame if u have the movable parts script.

slot -0.07 0.046 1.389 0.000 0.000 0.000 789 ; L muffler
attach 0x00040047 1

I can now buy the mufflers to the car but i cant add them to the car.

edit the slot number so it doesn't repeat in the car slots. 789 - slot number

Added 45 seconds later:

and make sure u have no other exhaust pipes installed and stuff.
