Somebody has this game, need advice, I downloaded it and went to the Committee I buy it to play multiplayer and incredible lags PLS Consult

slow net connection? do u get lag on other games? also its a quite demading game.. so if your pc cant run it you are fucked..

OK, a bit late, but here's my 2 cents :
First, have a good PC, with at least a 3.2 GHz processor (preferably a quad core since the game seems to run better on quads than duals; I have a Core 2 Duo E8400 @ 3.0 GHz). Preferably your GPU should have a 256 bit memory bandwidth and 1 GB memory. DX 11 capabilities optional. Second, join servers that have the lowest pings, seek out a couple of good, reliable, well administrated servers, Personally I play on servers rented/owned by Super@, PWNYHOF, <SAS> and ComputerGames.ro servers; 1st and 3rd are from the UK, 2nd is from Germany and 4th from Romania. If that doesn't do the trick, I suggest you play on the 24 player servers. Those 8 extra people in the 32 slot servers murder the game's netcode, especially if, like most noobs, they just jump in into a random server, without caring about pings, and with a bad internet connection. Also, remember, having a FAST connection doesn't mean you'll have good PING. Also, for me, lag and "rubberbanding" disappeared after the R8 patch, when some things were altered in the net code in the way packets were sent. Now I play with around 30-40 ms pings. |
