Does anybody use Sketchup? If you guys do can you help me out. I wanna start it up so I can contribute more to Vstanced.

if you wanna start modeling, get max 5 from our dl area, sketchup is a crap(and is almost impossible make a good conversion to max)

yeah,bigg boss is right,at first i tried with sketchup too but everything was really boxy and it was just horrible,i suggest you 3ds max because with some tutorials i found (also posted in 3ds tutotials section) i can actually model on my own (not really good but waaaay better than sketchup)
Added 4 hours 7 minutes later: Here's a compare sketchup VS 3ds max,both modeled by me  Sketchup:  3Ds:  Note: 3Ds exhaust looks solid filled but it isn't,unlike the sketchup one This post was edited by FJ (2013-07-16 10:15, ago) |

THIS is a good point to start with, just dont use turbosmooth or meshsmooth

Make sure to get 3ds max 5 (or 5.1) that you can find here or @GOM because scx export plugin support only 3ds max 5 and 3ds max 5.1
