Hey everyone. So I tried following the paintjob tutorial on here but unfortunately I stumbled across a problem that I can't figure out a solution. I painted the whole car and I painted the front bumper black as mentioned in the tutorial. I saved the paintjob then I got these files that can't be opened with gimp. Thanks in advance! :awesome:

BTW is there any type of mod to make the H-Shifter of the Logitech G27 work in SLRR? I got the wheel and pedals to work quite nicely except the shifter.

Rename the files to .JPG files (like, "PlayerCar0.1.jpg").

Not sure about the wheel thing. Someone I know with a Logitech G27 can't get it working in SLRR either.

..and if u only change the color of 1 part or put a decal on it before saving.. u will see the difference in the filesize after saving. So 4 example if u only paint the chassis aso 1 filesize will be a bit bigger. Just change the folder view to "detailed view" and u´ll see the differences between. And than rename it , open it in "Paint" change attributes to 1024x1024 or bigger. save the file. delete the extension. ingame load the painjob.. aso like the tut says ;-)

Ok just to make sure I have to change all those 12 files to .jpg then open the "TEST" in gimp not TEST.1 or any of the others. Then I have to change the size to 1024x1024 or higher, paint it with the color I want then save it as JPG and replace the original TEST and then delete the .jpg and load it in game?

This whole thing got so much harder and confusing only because when I save the paintjob, I get 12 files instead of 1 or 2 and that I can't delete the .jpg after I'm done messing with it in gimp

Added 1 hour 13 minutes later:

I finally got how to make it work. Thank you guys for your help! Only problem is you can't put decales on fenders or roof. Basically any part that's attached to the chassis that you can't remove because it always gets transferred to the other side in a weird way
