if Raxxat would do it how many of you modders would help and commit to SL3.
we do need PEOPLE to donate at list 10.00 dollars to reach the gold of 10.000 to start
this is just a suggestion but if people take it serous i will post what he and i talk about
and i also will need a better writer cus i suck at this Thank you all

RAXXAT
if people could collect at least $10 000 for SL3, that will be enough for me to begin this project.
I will personally thank everyone who make a donation for game like that.
Senior donators deserve an exclusive DVD with game and with my personal autograph on the disc.
I don't see anything crazy in this idea. Why should i waste my life on some boring job and doing useless things,
when i can make other people happy by releasing a SL3 smile i bet it would be a bestseller game,
but people need to understand that i need to build a life and they need to help me with this.

as of now i think RAXXAT and the original slrr game engine creator will be working along side raxxat engine will be new from the ground up.

i think that he will do a SL3 Fan base website .

until he finishes 231 Fan Base SL3 Will be postponed this what he had to say

Hi there,

i didn't release 2.3.1 yet, so i think it's too early to talk about SL3 now. Anyways, i really think about making this game, so you may make some research before i will start this project.

What's the technology? - I will use engine of CRC2005, an enhanced and polished version of SL2 engine, it's really fast and stable for all my needs. I'm sure it has enough power for such game as SL3.

Who are the fans? - Everyone who likes Street Legal, racing/tuning games, mechanics and all the people who like some hardcore in games.

How much money the development will cost? - Not less than $10 000USD (ten thousand US dollars), otherwise it's not profitable for me.

How long the development may take? - I expect around 16 months in total, but i'm not 100% sure about that.

Who are the team? - Talented people who are ready to help a very big and ambitious project or to work hard for money (since this project is not free and i will have a budget that i could pay cash from)

Where donations will go? - I need to cancel primary job to dedicate all my time only to development, so donations compensate that sacrifice. Also, part of donations will go to professionals that i will hire to do some extra work (like graphic enhancements, designs, additional programming, etc.)

I will think about logo next week and make some sketches (or even a final image, depends on how much free time i will have)

First. I dont really think this will ever be finished, and second, why would you donate to something you havent seen anything from (and Im not talking about logos, but about ingame screens and such)? Its like Id say give me your money Im gonna do a mod, but in the end I could just spend it on shit and take peoples money.
Sorry, but atleast for ME, this doesnt seem serious enough to spend ANY money in.

put it this way.. to finish off the 2.3.1 it has already taken him 3+ years if not more? and clearly investing money into something will not make him quit his job to have more time to develop a game from SCRATCH! remember 2.3.1 is still based on slrr so hardest part was done already :)

J.C Your right about that
i was trying to start something up but whiteout a Fan base website that will introduce his golds and proper introduction
i think that's what matters most and have at list a proper demo for fans to judge on and give him info.
well lets see what will happen when he finishes 231?????? :D :awesome: B)

Hello everyone!

This information is not a fake, i'm actually thinking about making a game that could be called "Street Legal 3". This project takes its beginning far in 2007 when i decided to find a team that could help me with development and investors that may cover all costs. I contacted Invictus and tried to discuss possible licencing issues, since CRC engine requires payments for commercial use and they are HUGE, especially for a startup-business. Nobody decided to investigate into such expensive development so i had to continue it on my own, as a result i've created alpha build of game called "Project Delta", it has 2 test vehicles, garage, primitive mechanic module (you can install/remove parts), inventory right inside the garage and debug module.

I've faced with a very hard choice that time: 1. continue developing Project Delta alone, kill SLRR 2.3.1 and achieve unknown results; 2. freeze Project Delta and make a huge reload for SLRR 2.3.1; 3. Get deeper into business, collect money and found my own game developing company to continue both projects. I've picked the 3rd variant and disappeared from modscene for about 1.5 years, but this time gave me a lot of important things. I didn't launch my own game development company, but i've gained a great business experience and important contacts that may help me in the future.

So, what people can wait from Street Legal 3:

- Similiar modding possibilities: adding add-on cars, parts, maps, gamemodes, script mods, everything!

- Online races, CRC engine does support that, but this part needs some serious extra coding;

- NO MORE RANDOM CRASHES, much better rendering speeds, instant vehicle loads, all benefits of improved resource engine;

- Better vehicle handling;

- Only real cars and real parts in stock game client;

- Recording replays, CRC engine has this feature built-in so it should work perfectly;

- Improved graphics, but since i don't have source code for EXE, i could experience some problems with this part of work, so i want to try hiring Boris Vorontsov (creator of famous ENB series mod) to help me with hacking the executable;

- Even more hardcore game experience! More focus on real life things, less arcade elements, deeper car building and tuning.

BUT, i clearly understand you need a demo-version of game and a detailed business-plan before investigating anything into this project, so i will begin making both theese things next year right after release of my 2.3.1 patch (that should happen very soon, patch is almost done). I will also release the complete source code of SLRR 2.3.1 so everyone could see how actually i work with this technology and what level of quality you could expect from Street Legal 3. I'll be completely opened for people who trust me.

Finally, will you get the sources for SL3 to make mods just like in SLRR? - If this game will be released, i will give all the sources you need.

So, summing up, there are 4 important things:

1. No donations before i release demo and show detailed financial documents. I can also open a kickstarter project to ensure more guarantees to people who donated their money to me;

2. Full moddability, opened sources after release of ready game (or even earlier);

3. Focus on hardcore gameplay, community takes important part in its building by providing ideas/suggestions;

4. Direct access to developer, no more corporative mail that may have no answer. You can say what you think and you will be heard.

it sounds good and all of that , but what if the project fails all of a sudden and the graphics won't support some players who don't have a good pc .... it would be great if the was a new slrr but we have to think about pros and cons really ....
