Hey everyone, Facepalm here.
I've recently been talked into moving to the US by one certain Nick. And so I did.
After a lot of work and looking around, I secured a place to live near him and started working on moving there.
It took a long while but I eventually got my stuff there.
All that was left was for me to secure a car as well.
I found this pretty cheap 99 Eclipse GSX for V$1200. Quite a nice car, this one.
Has a slightly hanging bumper, but I'm sure I'll fix it and also eventually get me something nicer to work on.

4G gang 4G gang! This thing would absolutely work on every guise you want it :D
I'd say give it a stroker kit and stronger center diff (either an LSD or strengthened open diff) and you'll set for life

Oh an Eclipse! Haven't seen one of those in a while. It's a GSX too, what a deal! I'd say make that a budget Evo ;)

No idea what I'll do with it yet.
For now it's a daily. Might look around for something with less stuff on it for a project. Maybe get a shell and start building it from the ground up.

So not much has been done so far.
I got my car registered, and ziptied the bumper so that it doesn't completely fall off.
We Florida boys. I should mention at this point it wasn't just Nick who tried convincing me to cross the river and get here.

I haven't really done anything so far to the Eclipse. Next on the list might be a new set of wheels, and an engine cleanup cause it looks dookie. Or I might keep it stock looking, and get a new bumper so that the zipties can skidaddle.

As for the project, I'm planning to get a bare bones car, maybe a rolling shell or something, and just build it from the ground up.

While you're at it get new valves and cams as well man! Instant power bump! :D
I'd say even in stock form it's quite handsome already, just needs new wheels and obviously front bumper.

And oh, what kind of project are you planning on?

Perhaps a track project, I'm not a drift guy see?
Or maybe something that looks nice and is fast, I'll see.

Car's looking great, I think a subtle track setup would suit the Eclipse very well! Would love to see what you can come through with on the next project car, knowing you it'll be awesome and unique as always! B)

Y'all got me wrong lmao.
It's not the Eclipse that is getting the track treatment.
I'll be getting an all new car for that.
The daily stays stock for now
