Whats up? My names Dom, and since I was a small child, I've been obsessed with classic cars. For the past few years, I've been working hard as a Painter for LA County Beaches and Harbors. Recently, my first car, a Honda civic, died, and I've decided to sell it. Currently, I've got exactly V$20,000 in my savings account, and it's time to buy myself a classic car project and restore it. Currently, I've been looking at Japanese classics, like early model Rx7's, and Rx3's, and I've got my eye on a few so far. Hope y'all enjoy my rp

Welcome! LA's the place to be not counting Japan, and you can definitely find a RX-7 here. Hell, look at my old FC for some inspiration.

Hey everyone, I'm back. I found the exact car I wanted, it was perfect for what I'd like to do.
*Link for original car ad*
The car was located in Nevada, so I figured I'd go grab the car and then head south to gamble some money in Las Vegas. I took the last week and a half of work off, and me and my buddy (who has a truck and trailer) drove to Reno, up north, to get the car, and then headed south for Vegas. My buddy just dropped me and the car off at my place, and I couldn't be more excited. Me and the guy agreed on V$3,500. It seems expensive for just a rolling chassis, but these things are very hard to come by in the United States so it's a steal.

I'm very excited to finally have a project to work on

Well, today, I'm officially starting the project. Earlier today, I stopped at my local autozone for brakes, I figured I'd replace the current rusty 1972 RX-3 drum brakes with some 1985 RX-7 drum brakes or safety reasons, a set was 200 bucks. I also took a drive down to Compton to go grab this steering wheel.
*LINK*
He has it priced at 100000000 for some reason, but I contacted him and we agreed on 700 bucks for it (keep in mind, 700 might seem like a lot for just a steering wheel, but this is one of the only factory RX-3 steering wheels for sale in my ENTIRE country).
I'll be back with some photos of the brake installation
forgot to pay for the car so here

Added 1 hour 31 minutes later:

New drums are on!!! I haven't bled them yet so that will be quite the task, I'll get it done
Here are some pictures of the brand new drums!
(sorry for the bad quality, my enb shot itself)
