Hi, my name is Guille, this is gonna be my blog of Slrr where I will publish the photographies of my careers since I think that to play the V$ I need more time to play, time that I don’t have, I am gonna do it my way sorry for the folks that play the vstanced roleplay, maybe in the future I will join the official roleplay, this roleplay will have street drag racing and drift. I hope that someone enjoy reading this s**t and watching the screenshots. I started with the drag career so here we go. (Sorry if the photos aren't too good was the first time taking photos in slrr i will try to do better photos next times.

First entry:

I went to the second hand dealership and found a Saab 93 with a blown D15 on it for just 5300 so I bought it and tow it to my garage where this crazy drag build will start, as the paint was in very bad condition and one door was from a junkyard and a different colour I decided to wrap the whole car with white vinyl wrap, since it is cheaper than the paint, after that I pulled the whole engine and since it was blown and just a D15

I decided to save the parts that were in good condition, alternator, fuel rail, alternator drive belt, intake manifold, cilynder head and head cover and exhaust header, and bought a second hand D20 block and cilynder head in a not very good condition so I send them to rebuilt and forged increasing the bore of the block and decreasing deck height for better compresion and increasing the valves diameter and i went full send with the internals, forged ds crankshaft, rods and pistons plus high rpm ds camshafts and bought then also a nitrous injection kit from NOS and a meth injection kit then I went to the dyno to tune it, since the old fwd transmission from the d15 was very bad I bought a D20 awd tranny the guy who sold it to me said that it was rwd but it really was awd that was a bit bad because I had a set of hunston skinnys on my garage that I can’t use in awd but I sold them because awd is not a bad choice but soon I would regret keeping it, also I had a pair of rear greddy shock absorbers that I ordered for the initial plan of making the car rwd as the stock ones were too soft for that kind of power and also were a bit broken so I kept them also another thing to regret later. After selling the skinnys I bought four bfgoodrich 215/45 R16 and mounted them on the rusty steelies that came with the car since I didn’t have enough money for drag wheels. it was making 550 and adding 6 negative deegres to the exhaust manifold and increasing the fuel air ratio to 16 and with that the power got to 645 hp. Also i reposioned the battery on the back and also the bottle of nitrous went there for with helping weight transfer, although it may not do a lot.

With all that preparation I took my car to the street to compete in some street racing a dude with a Plymouth Duster with a big n/a 5,4 liters hauler engine with few engine modifications challenged me for 2000$ me since noone knew my car as was the first he thought that could beat a s**tty saab on steelies with a duhen engine, because some American cars fanatics think imports and duhens are slow af, we lined our cars and the girl spotter gave the start, and the Plymouth left first as it was my first race with the car but then I activated the nitrous kit and I overtook him finally I won just by 1 car length as I stopped the nitrous injection as soon as I got enough gap in order to save it as I don’t have a lot of money to spend on nitrous, he couldn’t believe he lost to a duhen powered saab he thought that something had to be wrong on his car so he challenged me again next week.

The next Saturday I went to the new spot another big straight road, I didn’t touch anything since the car was running smooth and I just used a bit of nitrous, the guy of the Duster seemed very angry we agreed the terms of the race and we lined one more time, I tought that it would be easy to win but when we started for my surprise he got more ahead than last time he had nitrous this time so I needed to use all the nitrous left on my small tank to win this time by a bumper on the last foot, that was tight but I knew that I’d got 2000 $ more but the obviously the guy of the gtx wasn’t happy about it and he ask to see the video but it just demonstrated that I won. As that race was so tight I took the money that I won and also sold the greddy shock absorbers(because i didn't have enough money to buy the turbo) and bought a big 90 mm DS thypoon turbo and a new nitrous bottle and second hand rear shock absorbers, but with that my car wasn’t as a sleeper anymore as the turbo wastegate needed to out on the bumper, but anyway in the races by now everyone knows that my car is not a joke so what’s the matter and theres no way I’ll make it to the 60 list with a duhen without a big turbo I went again to the dyno remap the engine and It made 945 hp to the clutch.

The next Saturday I went again to the race spot, I challenged the number 60 racer of the 60 list he had a slammed celica with a wideboy and unknown mods so I got ready to use the nitrous, we left both at the same time but my tires couldn’t hold the 945 hp and I my tires spinned a lot by the time I got traction he was too far, I started catching him by half the road but few by few and i couldn't get to him so he won the race by a trailer length at least, I returned to the garage with the pockets empty I only have left 2500 $ so I think I will go to the track and tune the transmission because I cannot afford new parts for the car and the engine is maxed out.

I went to the track to adjust the transmision and i left it very happy with the setup.

Next weekend of street racing was in a new spot but this time the road was surrounded by trees and not so wide as previous nights,i went ahead and challenged the number 60 again, we lined up and as soon as i spotted the light i released the handbrake and car flew no wheelspin this time thanks to new setup, i won by a lot but the celica lost control of his car and crashed me by the rear making me crash against one of the trees, losing the rear bumper and damaging the whole front end of the car, luckily it didn't seem to be affected the motor or the chassis and i could arrived to the garage although the car was going right so something migth be bad.

After arriving to the garage i saw the front right suspension arm was bent so i had to order a new one, but i have to sell some of my lights to pay for the new suspension arm, so now i am poor. I won't repair the body parts since i am planning on buying another car to build fully for drag when i get money.

Yeah your right the turbo is backwards but it worked well enough, I need to cut the chasis because the big turbo and its exhaust don’t fit well the engine bay and I don’t have yet the tools to cut it in my shop and in other shops is quite expensive so I wait till I get the machines, as I just moved some weeks ago to Valo city from an small island in spain where the motorsport world is not as big as here, the drag is almost inexisting only with a couple of events every year and now less with the track being private from a rich guy that only opens it for small events when he wants, although there are a lot of rallyes over here, i sold everything that i had there to come try in Valo and I am mounting my own tuning and restoriation shop for race cars and street cars in Valo city for street and track cars, by now I am sleeping in the shop as I cannot afford a house with all the expenses of the shop and cars and here the ground is more expensive over here but it is comfortable enough for me when my economy comes up again if it does I will search for an apartment and if it doesn't work as planned i can sell everything and go back to spain. I rethinked the thing of only using the saab till i get enough money to build a real drag car if it holds the punishment that i ll apply to it on the drag races i am going to use it for drift events unless i find a better deal.

After two weeks of hard work repairing cars that have puncture tires or little mechanic failures down the road beside my shop(good location of my shop as i get some clients being new in the city), also i got my first competition client a guy that needed some suspension work and motor mount improvements in a 69 charger with a turbocharged LS7, he took that motor out of a camaro that he crashed racing, he needed some reinforments on the rear suspension apart from setting the rear shock harder and taller for avoiding the big slicks rubbing with the body on the launches and also to rebuild the motor mounts, he let me try it and was insane the power he said was making 1600 hp and 1300 ft-lb of torque.

i had my saab fully repaired and with a set of slicks for the races so i packed everything and went to the meeting point, i had to race again the guy on the toyota celica to defend my spot after two weeks without racing and i won easy thanks to the new slicks i didn't even need the nitrous as the car launched perfectly. After that race i went ahead and compete against the 54 of the list who has an escort mk5 highly modified but again the slicks did its work and hook at the start and with the help of the nitrous i got him. After those two races a guy came to me and offer me a 65 mustang with a built small block that the engine was not starting that he doesn't have the money to repair the car and finish the drag build he was doing with it so he would trade it for my saab if i give it to him with lights and body repaired as i was looking for a car with a V8 for drag racing and i like a lot the classic american cars i agree to it as long as the car was in enoguh good condition,

so we agree to check his car the next day, i checked bottom of the car and everything seemed to be good, the exterior and interior were clean and i did a presure test on the engine and dismounted the heads and oil pan to check the engine for any cracks or parts in bad condition but it didn't seemed damaged at all so maybe there were some issues with the balancing or timing on that engine nothing too expensive if you have a shop but a guy that needs to go to a shop for those repairs they will rip his wallet and also as it was the engine it was no competition on the street it need some more money on upgrades but it has a ton of potential i believe, so after checking everything i agree to the deal

A week later the guy of the 65 mustang appeared by my shop with a tow truck, when he saw the saab rewrapped and reapaired he was asthounished by how well was looking even i fell in love of it although i am not a fan of those old saabs so we did the paperwork to change ownership of the cars and entered the mustang on my shop, then he left driving my former saab.
