Back Again!

Hey erm, long time no see i guess? Life and Work took over so i had no time to post sadly, however what is more sad is that my E36 is gone :(. I just didnt have the time for it so i sold up and bought something that i dont really have to worry about and just run around.

That would be a 2002 Volkswagen Golf MKIV 1.9TDi. It's some sort of Off White colour, havent got a clue, the rear end is filthy with Diesel Soot because the Previous Owner had the DPF deleted and EGR deleted, amongst other things which just made this thing pretty fast and pretty dertay.. As they say "If there is smoke, there's poke".

Ill be honest, this thing is pretty fast. I know that it has a Larger turbo fitted from an Audi? I believe its called a GTB2260VK (from what ive read, these were fitted to some Audi Diesel V6's). The factory injectors are good upto around 230hp and the gearbox is bulletproof. With the supporting mods the previous owner fitted, this machine was dynoed at 218hp. Which for a diesel is fairly quick, especially with the torque being fairly high.

I am on the lookout for something Cheap and RWD, preferably near to Florida. HMU if you got anything..

Budget of around 6k!

Hey welcome back, glad to see you again! :D
Ah gutted that the E36 is gone, was lookig forward to it.....but hey, at least the Chaser (both you and your car) is still here! :D

I love dieselboys despite the smokey reputation and the decline after the dieselgate....great for highway cruising, drag racing and even track racing. I miss the days where VAG (via SEAT and Audi) flexing over their rivals with their diesel machinery (using Leon TDI WTCC and R10, R15 and R18 respectively)

Now of course it's time for you to flex the Golf upon the streets and the world ;)

I'm gutted about the E36 too, but the JZX is still hanging around. Soon ill show the progress!

Despite the hate that Diesel gets, I do love a fast one hehe. It's always an eye opener when your "Superior Petrol" gets obliterated by a big old smoky diesel that sounds like its about to blow up.

The Golf is gonna flex soon, Some little bits here and there and the Derv is ready!

Here She Is!

  • As you can see, The Chaser has changed a lot.. BN kit all way round, apart from the rear bumper and rear quarter panels.
  • The Suspension is Tein Coilovers and all the typical angle mods etc etc. Got Work Emotion XT7's in the front 18x10 and in the rear we have Simmons FR9's in 18x10 also.
  • Both finished in Gloss White. I would name everything else but i dont have my list haha. *more like a book*

  • The Exhaust is mental, Full Straight Through into a Muffler *i forget the name lmao*. It brings the JZ sound out in all its Glory.
  • I do also have D-Max Rear Tailights, since the stock ones look a bit meh

  • Here's a casual rolling shot.. Guess ill be working on the Golf now!

I went a little OTT with this one haha! I'll agree with the wheels also, theyre my favourite thing apart from it being a Chaser. The Rear Bumper is a funny story actually erm. Well i was in the Parking Lot of Advance and when i came out, there was a HUGE crack in the middle of the bumper, fresh too. Someone had reversed into it with some sort of tow hitch or something. Sadly Advance wouldnt let me have the tapes. So i guess im running no bumper till i fix it or buy another one
